You’ll find fun for the whole family downtown at local restaurants and theme parks, all with spectacular lake views. This home has everything you need for a relaxing weekend away.

This property was perfect for our family getaway. Had everything we needed. Being pet friendly was a plus! The home was clean and we had no issues! We hope to stay here again!

Great cottage

This was the perfect cottage for my family (2 adults and 2 small children) The space was clean and had all the amenities we needed and more! Would definitely stay there again!

Close to everything

Stayed with family and friends. House was clean and very comfortable. Close to the dunes and beaches yet quiet and peaceful for campfires. Small cottage but felt larger with the high ceilings. We would definitely stay again.

Family of 4 Vacation

We had the best time visiting Mears, MI for the 1st time!! We spent a long weekend at this cozy little cottage which was a perfect spot to start & end our busy days!! We sight saw, climbed little sable lighthouse, walked Lake Michigan's beautiful beaches, ate at Hideaway campground restaurant for dinner, whippy dip for ice cream treats, rented a pontoon and cruised Silver Lake, fished, rented a buggy & rode the dunes, walked the dunes, rode macwoods dune ride, took some thrill rides at craigs crusiers, enjoyed the state parks & many playgrounds nearby! I cannot recommend this little town enough. We'll definitely be back!!

Comfortable house

My granddaughters didnt want to leave. We had a great time. It was very comfortable. Kitchen was stocked. I cannot say anything negative about the house. It stayed cool while outside was very warm.

Great Place

Have been going to Silver Lake area for decades so I knew the location was great. The cottage itself exceeded our already high expectations. We had 2 adults and 3 children (13, 9, 9) and it was very comfortable. Note there are two full bathrooms, one is master bath. It is very clean, modern, and a large kitchen. I was a bit hesitant with only one other review but it’s a new property. High ceilings open the space up even more. Will absolutely stay here again if we go up to the area again. Great experience.

Absolutely perfect!

Cannot wait to stay here again! This is the first vrbo I have rented myself, I’ve stayed with other people who did the booking. This was a great first experience. Clean, beautiful, excellent location if you’re a duner. Plenty of room to park my Tahoe and 14’ enclosed trailer and still have the side x side out of the trailer too. You could totally walk to town if you wanted to. Host communication was fantastic, Cassandra was so nice. We had absolutely no problems. Check out super simple. Loved the old school Nintendo- great touch. We stayed 3 nights and the paper products provided were plenty for 2 of us. The kitchen was excellent. The bedrooms have ac and TVs, that’s important to us lol. The mattress was very comfortable. Lovely yard with a fire pit and charcoal grill. We’ve already got dates in mind to come back. Thanks for a great first vrbo experience!

Family/Children Friendly House

House is beautiful and walking distance to Silver Lake. We had six adults (3 couples) which the second bedroom did not accompany adults, but was best for children. We had to take a blowup queen size bed to put in the living room, because the second bedroom contained a bunkbed for children and a twin bed with old fashioned spring to hold the mattress and is best for a small child. The home was clean and contained everything you need like towels blankets pots n pans dishes utensils & cooking utensils, toaster, Keurig coffee machine but take your own pods because only 4 pods were supplied. The fire pit was great for relaxing and a grill n charcoal was available. Parking was good and we did not have to drive far to go to some good fishing in Pentwater from the bridge. The cleaning person did miss some spots that weren’t vacuumed but nothing to lower my satisfaction, also there was an empty bottle under the bunk bed that was not ours. Overall the place was great! Thank you so much for sharing your home.
