Nice place

Wonderfull property and great location. The gravel entry and driveway is a little sketchy on Harleys but otherwise a great setup. Plenty of outdoor & indoor games to stay entertained while grilling and just hanging out after riding all day.

Better Than Ever

This was my second stay at this amazing place. It is super quiet, beautiful setting with clear starry skies. The two cabins have had lots of little improvements and some big ones, like new ac that works great and a newly graveled drive. So clean and comfortable, just the best. We will be back again.

The location is def an escape - secluded and quiet. We were in town for an event so only slept and showered there, but did appear to have items needed for cooking and dining. I appreciated the cleanliness of the homes and the privacy.

Poor communication with manager

Everything was goo except for communication with manager. AC would not get cooler than 77 in the upper cabin. Messaged manager multiple times with no response from him at all. Instead we had to go to bed sweating.

Peace and Quiet

The property was in a remote area. The cabins were comfortable with nice furniture. Everything worked in the cabin. Enjoyed the outdoor seating. Didn’t use the game room, but it had a lot of cool stuff in there.

Really enjoyed the location. Ha ing 2 cabins was a plus especially as a first timer on VRBO. Only suggestion....when someone gets the check-in and info from the owner....take a snap shot. The cell signal was horrible, 0 service. We didn’t do that and had to double back to get signal. Other than that we loved the whole property. All you really require is clothing, toiletries and food.

Beautiful Views & Fun Hill Country Spot

Great place and great stay! Perfect central location near Lost Maples, HC SNA, Medina, etc. but still quiet and remote. And the views! The photos don’t do the views justice! Rustic, hill country vibe with all the comforts of home. Cabins were very clean and well equipped. Comfy beds with lots a linens and towels. Instructions and directions were easy to follow. Game room was a great plus. We brought our dog and she loved the large fenced yard. We will be back to this place.

Oasis In Hill Country

It was four months in making, but our reunion was a huge success at this Medina gem. Two cabins complete with two king bedrooms each, plus living rooms and stocked kitchens. The only downside was that only one bedroom per cabin is ensuite. There is a half-bath downstairs in each cabin. The game room is excellent as is the addition of the outdoor fire pit. Excellent location for reunions.

Fantastic Week of Motorcycling

Every year for the last 25 my brother, best friend, and I meet up for a week of catching up and motorcycling. Florida, Georgia, NC, SC, TN, WV, CO, NM, Washington State, Arkansas and Texas. Some states we have visited more than once. Every year we pick a cabin (or cabins) for our lodgng. Clean is important, quiet is nice, tucked away is good, easy access is important (we're on motorcycles), NEAR a town or towns is important, WIFI is REALLY important (we go online to choose or change routes each night before the next day's trip). This year we stayed at the cottages. My best friend took one cabin, my brother and I the one farther down the hill. Fantastic experience! It checked off ALL of the criteria for us. Having the loft meant everyone had a private place to sleep or relax at the end of the day, the WIFI was VERY fast for such a remote location. The gated entry provides a nice sense of security when you're going to be gone all day long. The cabins are close enough to both Kerrville and Bandera for easy access to restaurants, grocery store, hardware store, etc but the actual location is SILENT at night with a sky full of stars. I LOVED the outdoor shower. It was HOT outside and coming back from 200+ miles of motorcycling to the outside shower was just fantastic at the end of each day. I'd recommend this place for 2 couples, or 2 - 4 friends.

Beautiful & Cozy!

We loved our stay! They had everything we needed for a cozy, fun, family stay. We drove to Los Maples and hiked and spent a day in Bandera. Then we grilled back at the cabin and sat outside gazing at the stars. Beautiful!

This place is amazing!

We went with my daughter and her family consisting of 2, 10 year olds and a 2 year old and everyone had a wonderful time! There is so much to do nearby, we went to Jellystone one day, to the river the next and jumped off “cliffs” and swung out on the tree rope, of course us older folks sat in our chairs in the river and enjoyed a cold beverage. The last day we went to Fredericksburg and attended the car show and did some shopping, on our way back to VRBO stopped off in Center Point at Toucan Jim’s, the kids had a blast. Every evening we had ping pong, corn hole and horseshoe tournaments, the kids had so much fun, we definitely plan on returning!

Enjoyed are stay

Location is extremely peaceful, isolated and has plenty of space to roam around. It's about 15-20 minutes to Kerrville that has everything you'd need. Property is missing a few finishing details to get a 5-star rating. Keurigs for coffee would be nice, furnishings a bit tired and some of the sheets had bleach stains on them. None of the above would stop us from going there again as we 100% enjoyed our stay.

Loved almost every aspect of the stay. The property could use some attention to leveling the washed out driveway and mowing the tall grass. Overall 5 stars loved it.
