“It was clean. Lotion and soap were empty in the room. Breakfast was decent.”

“When we arrived, we were informed that the hot tubs weren't functioning, which was disappointing, but really not an issue for us. When we went to the pool, the hot tubs were drained, but not cleaned. There were band aids, hair, and gravel/sand sitting in the empty hot tubs and it really grossed us out. There was also a very strong chemical smell as we entered the building that carried all the way to our room. The room didn't smell that way though, which was a relief. ”

“The pool and hot tub were nice and the pool side room options were nice as well. The room was very small, and the bathroom was at the back of the room instead of the front, putting the bed right by the door. Our stay was good overall and all the staff were very friendly and helpful!”

“I like this hotel because, we had a poolside room. The pool area is not cold, it’s comfortable. The pool area does not smell like chlorine!! The hot tub and pool are right next to each other. Hot tub water floats over the wall into the pool so the pool is not freezing cold! It’s a great set up! Breakfast was good. Bed comfortable. Not the newest place, but for the money. It’s great. Will stay again. Precious (Mgr name) was super friendly!!”

“Our room had new mattresses and carpet. The bathroom was missing an over the mirror vanity light. A lot of space to move around.”

“The hotel was fine, from front desk staff to amenities to room size to location. Road work nearby was not the fault of the hotel. On the other hand it was difficult, challenging and severely disappointing to deal with Expedia when I needed to make a change. There was no honest effort or customer service to work with me on my change request. I’m not sure I will use Expedia for any future travels.”

“The property was very up to date and clean. Staff was friendly and check in easy. The room was fairly spacious with a larger compact fridge and small microwave. TV sound did carry through the wall from the next room but it wasn’t loud enough to be an issue. The hotel is conveniently located to get back and forth to the university, although the city needs to repair the road the hotel is on. I did not partake of the breakfast so have no comment on it.”

“This is just the only hotel to stay in when visiting Grand Forks--I wouldn't even consider staying anywhere else. It's beautiful, comfortable, great location, and the staff are wonderful. ”

“Everything about the Hampton property was excellent, the Expedia app was the thing that was 2 thumbs down, I was booked and paid for in the app, but when I went to check in nothing was sent to Hampton Inn from Expedia. Was an exhausting experience just to check in, thankfully the staff at hotel were accommodating, having said that I will no longer be using Expedia for any travel arrangements”

“Upon arrival, the floors were dirty, the only chair in the room had a broken and detached back rest, the shower was gross and not clean, the shower drained very slow and flooded at my feet, room constantly smelled like backed up drain and cigarette smoke, and the walls were very thin. Could hear very clearly every word a neighbor says, the TV, and activities. Hot water was broken for 2/6 days I was there.
