Overall good experience, but the property is definitely needing some work. Ceiling was cracked with water damage and the backyard was so filled with dry, pokey sticks that it was hard for the kids to run around without tripping and cutting up their hands and knees. Had to go around and collect all the big branches sticking straight up that were safety concerns. Only 1 of the 3 bedrooms had a tv and overall I felt as though it was a bit pricey for such an old, modest home. However, the neighborhood was quiet and in a good location for events we went to, the place was clean, host was nice, check-in was easy, there were plenty of beds for all of us, and we got what we needed. We didn't have any major issues while we were here and ultimately had a nice, easy stay. We would stay here again in the future.

Southern hospitality at it's best

My family’s visit to Memphis was exceptional. The property was clean and beautifully decorated, but we didn’t stay at the original booking due to unscheduled maintenance. Instead, we stayed at a sister property nearby that was just as welcoming. Still, neither property compared to the kindness and graciousness of the hosts. They exceeded all of my expectations. We were greeted with warm hospitality and made to feel right at home. The hosts went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. They provided thoughtful touches throughout the space and even dropped off sweet treats from a local shop for my littles. Communication was open, prompt, and incredibly accommodating. They were always available to answer any questions I had, whether it was about the property itself or recommendations for local attractions and restaurants. Overall, I cannot recommend this host enough. If you're looking for a comfortable and welcoming place to stay with hosts who prioritize open communication and hospitality, this is your spot.

Sweet, comfortable home

Home is nice and clean. Very comfortable too. The host is very responsive. We had some difficulties initially attaining the check in information due to flying all day and my funky cell phone. But all went well afterwards. Home is close to good shopping and some great restaurants.

Cute and Cozy

This property was exactly as advertised. Very clean and nicely decorated. My 6 year old enjoyed the “secret door” in the 2nd queen bedroom. Lol. Pros: nice location, great space for the price, and well stocked. These owners have obviously stayed in rental properties before and have covered many of the basics. Appreciated the pack and plays, extra fans and cozy blankets! Cons: the tub valve didn’t work well so it was hard to fill the bath to bathe young kids, the mattress in the front bedroom was extremely creaky, and the kitchen could use a couple of ice trays. Highly recommend this property. My crew will definitely be back next time we are in the Memphis area.

Everything was great! Host was quick to respond even though she was on vacation.

VRBO did not send the auto message about how to check in. Jennifer, the host, took time away from her vacation to make sure we got in the house once we arrived.
