Room wasn’t clean. Bed and towels were clean but the sink had quite a bit of soap residue on the counter. Toilet hadn’t been clean. I got into the room really late so didn’t think I’d be able to rebook at that point. Girl at the late night desk was inappropriately dressed and seemed very distracted and unable to concentrate. Should have asked for a refund but was just happy it was only one night. Try the Sun Country instead. They are professional and the room was clean

THE PROPERTY IS STILL LISTED ON THE WEBSITE AS OPEN BUT CLOSED LAST YEAR! No one is there. The front doors are chained shut. Do not book this hotel or you are in for a surprise when you get there. They flooded last year and apparently never reopened. I had to scramble to find another hotel at the last minute. Expedia shouldn't allow this to be booked at all!!

Aweful experience.

No one at site. Electicity off Friday and Saturday. Had to find other accomodations. Charge was not refundable when booked. Could not get an answer from Lime Tree office or help from hotels.com. All automated!

There was no power on arrival, no management on property, no number posted to call other than at the motel itself, which didn't work if course worh no power....

Turn & Run!

We had to beg for towels for 2 days. They do not automatically give them to you they said, because the guests steal them!? There actually feces in the toilet when we first arrived. My socks were FILTHY after walking in the room for a very short time after getting ready to venture out in the morning, then leaving the room. We purchased a large can of Lysol and sprayed down the entire room before sleeping. We would have refused staying here, but there were no other rooms anywhere else. Hotels.com should go to this place themselves & try their service. I guarantee you will change your mind about advertising them. The Limetree Motel is a not the type of place for an enjoyable stay. At most, they are probably renting hourly, if you understand.

I would say it was a very decent room for the price. I have stayed in expensive motels that were not any better. The owner was very nice and made me feel at home. I definitely would stay again.

This place didn't even look open! The grounds were unkept and the building was decrepit! It had all the looks as a crack house. The restaurant was abandoned and the pool was dirty. And this was all before I decided to NOT stay there. I don't know when the pictures were taken, but it was obviously a long time ago. Completely deceiving! I plan on asking for a refund from Expedia!

DISGUSTING PLACE WITH BED BUGS - DO NOT BOOK!

This was the dirtiest, most disgusting motel I've ever seen. Bed bugs, black mold, dirty towels, dirty sheets, and it stunk. This place should not be in business, much less on a reputable website.

Advertised a pool but there was no water in it. Property is what you expect for the very low price; TV didn't work and no towels in room but they brought some after we called. Couldn't get anyone to answer when we called at night about the TV; Beds were comfortable and clean. Restaurant there is closed;

Not very clean. Lots of people in and out of the workers room. Never came by to clean room or bring new towels. I left and stayed down the street at sun country inn! It was 100% better!!

When we arrived there was no one at the front desk to greet us or check us in. A gentleman arrived shortly after and located a room for us. We were in a hurry to get to an event so we just unloaded our things and dropped them in the room. The a/c was not on so the room was hot. Luckily we were going to be out for a while so the room had time to cool down. When we returned to our room we discovered that we had NO towels and NO toilet paper or tissues. I called to get some towels and tp and some ice for our ice bucket. The front desk person has to meet you at the ice machine to unlock it which is very inconvenient. Even without Covid scares leaving the ice scoop that everyone has touched inside the ice maker is very unsanitary, but that's where it was. A lady brought us towels and after she left I realized she did not bring any tp, so I called back to the front desk to ask for some only to get no answer. Luckily I had my own in my car. The bed was hard as a rock and the room wreaked of cigarette smoke. I was not asked if I wanted a smoking or non smoking room. In the morning we awoke to find that the mini fridge which is kept on top of a dresser next to the TV had somehow leaked water all over the dresser. After we cleaned that up we went to check out, and again, no one was at the front desk, so I just had to leave my key on the desk. Needs a lot of work and attention and more employees to be more readily available for their guests.

A quickie for the rate

Well. Indeed the circumstances can make a difference. But I feel it was a mess. Just trying to get doing and I wish them the best. Some management could make a big difference.
