Cozy cottage nestled in the woods with large screened in porch to listen to the birds. Bedrooms have blackout blinds for a prefect night sleep. Fire pit for evenings with the family. Only one mile to Mentone brow park to watch beautiful sunsets. We have games for the rainy days. Fully stocked kitchen. We are 1.4 miles from Lil Mole Run golf course, and best of all a private creek to walk and enjoy all to yourself. This is a new property and the yard is still in progress, thank you for your understanding.

The house was just lovely. We traveled for a relaxing, low key weekend with friends and that is just what we got! The accessories were plentiful in the kitchen with even a fire pit outside! Perfect for roasting hot dogs and marshmallows. The screened in porch would have been perfect if the weather had been about 15 warmer! Next time, we'll have to plan an earlier fall trip! The cabin was very nice and comfortable, and location was great! While we didn’t walk to downtown Mentone, it would be walkable. The kitchen, while small, was well stocked with everything we needed to prepare meals. The bathrooms were stocked with nice linens and other amenities. The beds and pillowswere very comfortable, and the screened in porch was most enjoyable. Host was very responsive.

We got a sweet email from Amy prior to our arrival giving us the entry codes & welcoming us to the cabin. When we arrived, we found the cutest cabin with everything we needed for our stay in Mentone. The kitchen was well stocked & the beds were so comfortable. We really enjoyed the screened porch & walking in the woods behind the cabin. During the day, we attended the Fall Festival & hiked at Desoto Falls. We ate lunch at The Hatter Restaurant & dinner at The Wildflower, both of which were great. Great little cabin & great host! Would definitely stay again.

Wow is all I can say! This is the prettiest cottage, everything we could ever want or need was there! Loved the screened in porch and wanted to use the other porch and make something great on the grill we just didn’t have much time! We will be back!!

Perfect stay!

This little cottage was so cute and comfortable! It was exactly as described. Amy really put some extra thought into the comfort and needs of her guests. So many little thoughtful touches that most vacation rentals don't offer anymore. If we had forgotten anything, chances are we would have had it. We didn't end up needing anything but it was so nice to know that it was there if we had. My favorite part about coming back from a long day out hiking and checking out the area was the comfy reclining chairs and so many cozy blankets to wrap up in. The coffee bar was so cute and had everything needed to make the perfect cup of morning coffee. I loved that she had a binder full of things to do in the area and menus from local eateries. Her guest book was also fun to look at for suggestions from previous guests. Mentone Market had the BEST pizza and the Hatter Cafe was our favorite breakfast spot! We also enjoyed a day trip to Chattanooga which was only a 45 minute drive. I highly recommend going to the Chattanooga Market which is only open on Sundays. Huge selection of local food and crafts- go hungry! They have so many food trucks and vendors. I would definitely recommend staying here and hope to come back myself one day!

We loved this cabin, it was in a Great location, very clean, the screened back porch was so relaxing. Not far from Desoto Falls, Little River Canyon and next door to the Market in Mentone (we love their pizza) Just a Fun, Relaxing place to enjoy nature and relax…..We love Mentone and Fort Payne area (Look Out Mountain)….Also right close to Brow Park/the sunsets there are Beautiful!!

Fourth of July get away

Relaxing in Mentone

I can’t say enough about this property. It was excellent in every aspect. Amy gets an A for this one. She communicates very well with her guests and is extremely responsive to any issue that may arise (coffee maker quit working one morning and she had a replacement to us before noon).I would recommend this property to anyone who is looking for quiet, peaceful and restful stay in Mentone. The screened porch was wonderful. Thanks again Amy and I hope to be back soon.

Excellent place!

We had a wonderful time at the Creekside Cottage! It was an ideal place for a relaxing getaway weekend. The house is clean, equipped with all that we needed, and spacious. The setting could not be more serene. Highly recommended.

Creekside Cottage is Amazing!

This feels like a new home, everything is perfect. I felt like I was secluded but was only a half mile from town. The private creek is so nice, especially since it is in the forest. Amy went above and beyond as a host to help me feel welcome. I hope to stay here again.

Perfect spot for relaxing getaway!

This home is perfect for a couple or small family to have a relaxing getaway. The home is set up with everything you could need. Rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated. We stay in vacation rentals when we travel, and this one is now at the top of our list of favorites!Shops and restaurants are within walking distance.The owners thoughtfully provided chairs for relaxing by the creek and there is a fire pit for your enjoyment outdoors. Our favorite thing was the screened in porch. We enjoyed our coffee each morning sitting out there listing to the birds. We saw a deer our first morning there.It gets our highest rating for a vacation rental!
