Very comfortable home

The inside of the house was very clean and comfortable. The bedrooms had minimal furniture but the beds were comfortable. The exterior of the house could have used some landscaping for curb appeal or at the least kept to look cared for as it stood out on the street in a negative way. Overall, if needed, I would definitely rent it again as it was a great price for the value.

Only reason we didn't leave is because there was nothing available. Uc merced was having a big event and everything was sold out, I checked. The house itself was clean enough except for the carpet, disgusting. We were 5 total and they only left 5 towels, not a single extra. No washcloths, no hand towels, not even in the downstairs bathroom nothing to dry your hands with. The towels we had were stained, they smelled clean but the stains were very off putting. We went and bought our own towels. The backyard was completely overgrown with weeds, there was a table and a bench that were filthy and a broken washer/dryer so sitting outside was not and option. No television in any of the bedrooms, the upstairs TV did not work. The house is very minimally furnished. There is huge dog across the street and 1 next door that bark a lot so be aware, I know that is not the owners fault but something to note. Beds were comfortable, if its winter bring blankets because there are no extras either. Bring your own toiletries. House was clean but do not expect any amenities.

Nice quiet neighborhood

The house is beautiful and very bright upstairs. The house has two areas to sit and relax, nice for a big group of people. Had to reach out to the house manager during our stay and had a very quick reply. Parking on a Thursday night can be a little tough because it's trash day so everybody has their cans in front of their driveways and parking is tight as it is. Our group sent a private message to the house manager regarding just a few things We thought would have improved our stay and future guest, He was extremely open to our suggestions. This is a great house for a large group. The house is in a good location it's close to a lot of stores and only about 10 minutes away from a small Walmart. We Look forward to staying here again.

I honestly never leave reviews but I had to for this one! We traveled all the way from Texas for a family funeral and our stay was absolutely horrible, to say the least. A few hours after arriving 3 of the fire alarm batteries were going out and the fire alarms kept chirping. Thank goodness my husband is tall and was able to remove the batteries from the ceiling. Then at about 12:30 am another fire alarm started chirping, then another one at 3:30 and the 5th one at about 6:00 am. The next morning we were leaving the house and the front door wouldn’t even lock…..why you ask!? Because the batteries went out on the front door lock pad! I tried calling Evolve and there was no one available on a Friday morning to take my call. I found an alternative phone number to “property management” and they wouldn’t answer their phone either. After some time, I received a text message from someone asking what the issues were! Absolutely poor horrible customer service! Someone eventually came by later that day to change the batteries! It was as if no one had been by this property for a long time to ensure things were still running smoothly. It gets better…The whole house had these glitter stickers all over the place and were getting stuck to all of our clothes and bags. The AC/heater didn’t work and wouldn’t stay to normal temperature so we were freezing our butts off every single night! No tvs in any of the rooms. No toilet paper, paper towels or trash bags! My husband had to go buy it!

This was absolutely the worst VRBO experience and house we have stayed at.

When we arrived to the house there was a red tag from the City stating services woukd be shut off for lack of payment. The porch was filthy and had Amazon packages that had clearly been there for days. It took me 7 calls to recah the owner (primary contact) when I did reach him he made comment he was out of the country and it was 4:30 AM so I was lucky he called. There was not even a full roll of toilet paper combined in all three bathrooms. No tissue, no paper towels in kitchen, 1 garbage bag in kitchen. Toiletries provided per listing...these consisted of a hotel bar of soap and lotion in each bath. We had 5 guests on reservation and we're provided 1 bath towel per guest, and 1 wash cloth per bath, no spares. There was only 1 dishtowel in kitchen. The patio and furniture on patio were filthy, empty beer cans, paper plates and cigarette butts. The furniture was too dirty to use and with no paper towels or spare towels there was nothing to clean it with thus we were unable to use. There were flies and mosquitoes in the house at check in. There were no instructions or internet codes in the house and once again had to wait for owner to call. Trash cans on side of house were all overflowing with garbage with full bags leaning against cans, clearly had not been emptied for weeks. The toilet in the bath ran every 7-8 minutes and the master shower only dripped cold water so was unusable and all 5 guests had to use the same shower. The owner charged a very high cleaning fee and expects you to basically clean before leaving, which we did but I feel based on the way we were given the house the cleaning fee should have been refunded.
