“Very friendly staff, especially the front desk and breakfast attendant. The hotel was very clean. The renovation was very well done. The room did not smell. There was shampoo, conditioner, soap, and lotion provided by the hotel. Only real complaint was that the lotion was a little watery (in comparison to the same brand at their Virginia/Norfolk location where we stayed at the day after). Breakfast was very good. No cold cuts; just bread and pastry items, cereals, and two options for waffles...

“We were greeted at the front door by a very gracious lady who showed us where everything was and ended at our room. The room, though not large, was very comfortable and clean and certainly big enough for the two of us. We loved that it was across the street from William & Mary University and went for a walk on campus. Best of all it was a few blocks from Colonial Williamsburg and we could walk there & back. Had a great breakfast with the very entertaining owner/chef! This is an ideal place to...

“It was difficult”

“Checking in was easy and fast. However with no food available, none of the vending machines worked neither the ice machines. That forced us to purchase snacks in the lobby which were very expensive. The $32 charge for using a debit/credit card is outrageous. We are forced to use cards. ”
