Welcome to The "C" Hammock – Your Relaxing Bay River Getaway

Nestled along the peaceful Bay River, The "C" Hammock is a charming 2-bedroom, 2.5-bath home perfect for outdoor enthusiasts and families seeking a waterfront escape. Spend your days fishing, kayaking, or crabbing right from the area—or bring your boat and explore the open waters. There's plenty of space on the property to park your boat trailer, and the nearest boat launch, Bobby's Boat Landing, is just 0.6 miles away.

Unwind on the screened-in porch off the living area and take in the stunning sunsets, or head downstairs to the spacious covered area under the home—ideal for cookouts, family games of corn hole, or simply enjoying the breeze. Additional outdoor furniture, and a crab pot is available in the “Nubby Shack,” a rustic structure built in 1980 that has stood the test of time through all kinds of weather.

Whether you're looking for adventure or relaxation, The "C" Hammock is the perfect getaway destination.

Our local hospitality will welcome you and your family to experience local events such as our annual Croaker festival, Dragon Run, Community Yard Sale, Music Festivals, Farmer's Market, and more. While you are here, we invite you to dine in one of our local restaurants where fresh seafood is always on the menu. While this may seem like a small town, we have a lot to offer! Oriental has something for everyone and people of all ages.
