  • We got here at sunset and this girl was far braver than I would have been. The drop was enormous. Colorado National Monument is somwhere I can't recommend highly enough, but allow enough time for all the overlooks, it is larger than it looks. We did 3 hours that evening and another 3 hours the next morning and only scratched the surface.

Our whole family stayed here for Thanksgiving and had the best time! The house is beautiful and had everything we needed to feel completely at home. All 11 of us had plenty of space and the loft/game room was a hit with the kids. The hosts were very flexible, quick to answer any questions we had, and even let us back in the house when we realized we had forgotten something there. We hope to stay there again and even talked about including theMountain Haus in our family holiday traditions in the future.

You could tell they care about the details. Everything seemed well thought out. We had eveeything we needed. The house was clean and well organized. The Infinity gaming table was loads of fun. We enjoyed almost every amenity from the game table, pool table, jetted hot tub, to the fire pit and grill. They had lota of extras readily available like hammocks, roasting sticks, games, binoculars, wifi and Bluetooth capability. We LOVED the view and spotted lots of wildlife. Enjoyed stargazing from the deck(s) and making smores at the firepit. There was lots to do close by. The owners were extremely quick to respond to questions and help. Could not have asked for a better experience.

Girls Trip

We had a wonderful time at Ski & Ride Mountain Haus! The location was fantastic. We hiked in the Grand Mesa National Forest everyday. The house was very wonderful for the 10 of us! The beds were very comfortable and cozy. The house was very clean and the kitchen had everything we needed for cooking for ten or more. I loved all of the space for storing our food. We loved making smores and relaxing in the hot tub after our day of hiking. We watched beautiful sunsets and sunrises from the house. I had one question about the house while we were there and the owners responded very quickly. We would definitely stay there again.

Awesome spot

We had a great time in this beautiful home stocked with everything we needed. We enjoyed snowmobiling one day; with plenty of driveway to park 2 trailers. And then we enjoyed powderhorn the next day! The hot tub was wonderful for soaking afterwards! We will be back!

Great Stay

We had a wonderful stay at the Ski Haus. The house is the perfect place to spread out comfortably and cook big meals in. This is our second year in a row renting the property for our camp and we hope to continue to do so in the future!

The BEST

This home was amazing. So many extras that homeowner allows you to use. Spices, ice chest, even amazing marshmallow sticks that look like a branch. Our family has used VRBO many times and this home is the best. Loved the rock wall and watching the chipmunk play. Got a little more animal life- Bear down the street. I have been going to Grand Mesa for 60 years and this year saw bears twice and never saw in 60 years. Grand Mesa is my heaven. Thank you homeowners for sharing your amazing place.

Beautiful home!

We had a wonderful time at this property. Beautiful home in the mountains. The house had everything we needed and plenty of room for our family to spread out. The views are amazing, loved all the decks on the home (wish we could have used them more, but mosquitos were terrible outside), plenty of parking space and had very comfy beds. The owner was very responsive when the windows started leaking during a heavy thunderstorm too. We would definitely stay here again!

Spectacular

Our short stay on the “Mesa” was so much more than I even expected. This home is perfect for a stay of any length. Clearly you are wanting quiet and serenity if you pick the Mesa to visit, but this place is everything you could want. Amazing sunrises and sunsets. Getting up early, making a cup of coffee and watching the sun fill the valley, must be experienced. A short drive to Grand Junction for any type of adventure you could ask for! We loved our stay!

Amazing cabin with phenomenal views and close proximity to Powderhorn

This cabin is gorgeous. Every detail was thought out. There were plenty of clean towels, lots of space for two families. It was probably less than a tenth of a mile to ski resort. Tons of outdoor seating. Comfy beds and very clean. Lots of TVs that easily connected to my phone.

Amazing views!

This home has amazing views in every direction. There are beautiful wildlife mounts throughout the home. The home is spacious with unique decor throughout. If you love to ski our enjoy lake activities this home is a great place to stay.

Cabin was perfect. Beautifully decorated for the holidays and plenty of room for the 10 of us. Owner even took time out to walk us through lighting the fire pit!

Tour de Vineyards/Winefest/National forest access/oh my!

We had a lovely time with family from Colorado and New Mexico! Hiked, rode in the TDV, tried our first Winefest, cooked a lovely meal, and enjoyed the outdoor fire pit. Absolutely perfect for our group.

Summer vacation

Grand Mesa vacation

Mountain Getaway was absolutely gorgeous. The house sits atop a hill with mountains in every direction. Sunsets were spectacular. The home itself is spacious and makes the most of the location with floor to wall windows in the great room and lots of places to eat outside. The beds were comfy, especially the master bedroom king with a 3-inch foam topper. We loved everything about the place except the lack of a decent sized town nearby. The market in Mesa is pretty bare bones. We had to drive 45 minutes to get decent grocery store. Plus, there was no playground or other things to do with little ones after returning from excursions. It was perfect for adults though. Tons of beautiful hikes and awesome places to visit within an hour or two.
