Hotel vicino a Messina Hof Winery - Bryan

“Very nice.”

“Bathroom was dirty. Floors dirty. Lobby area had an unpleasant smell. Also hotel repeatedly kept charging the card the room was booked with. Over $1400!! Front desk was not helpful and could not explain the charges. Was told to call my bank. Asked for a manager was told manager, was told they didn’t know where the manage would be in. I left my number and asked the manager to call me. They never called. Had to file fraudulent charges with me bank. I do no recommend. ”

“Pillow had lots of visible hair (not mine) on it and I noticed it as soon as I got into the room. The front desk staff was apologetic and provided me with new pillows. I checked in at night so it seemed that maybe housekeeping had left for the day already and I was asked to go to the lobby to receive the replacement pillows. I was only there for 1 night and just needed some rest but i couldn’t help but wonder if the rest of the linens were clean/changed or not. Breakfast was what one could...

“They may be fixing the property before Texas A&M graduation, and football season. The room is spacious, a nice layout, and comes equipped with a large refrigerator. However, there was only a single coat hanger inside of the large closet. For two guests, only one packet of coffee was provided. Overall, I felt that a little more attention to detail would have gone a long way.”

There are a few small issues that can be addressed - the stairway smelled like feet, the 3rd floor trash receptacle was overflowing, and the check-out process wasn't clear due to limited weekend front desk hours. I loved the size of the room, the courtyard area, and how quiet it was. I was able to sleep normally without the normal hotel sounds of people talking in the hall, closing doors, etc. The location was convenient but not in a busy, noisy area. I will definitely...

“Property is tidy just feels a bit tired and a litttle run down. Our blackout curtains had random holes so felt a bit like a starry night. Nonslip bathmat inside of shower was a little sketchy. Parking was convenient and felt safe. Included breakfast was appreciated but basic and a little underwhelming as compared to similar hotels. Staff was friendly and helpful. Value was low overall for what we paid - prices were inflated due to parents weekend.”

“The rooms are very plain looking with very cheap/uncomfortable furniture. Their “green” housekeeping plan means trash builds up for days and you are responsible for getting more towels if needed. The TV’s are old and don’t allow for streaming or casting from your phone. The hotel is fine if you don’t plan on spending much time there. Otherwise I would look elsewhere. ”
