Ultimate family retreat in the Woods!

Enjoy the beautiful nature surrounding this stunning Custom Craftsman style cabin. I actually rented this cabin for my family and I a couple of years ago and we loved it so much!! Naturally, when it came up on the market, I couldn't pass it up. It would be selfish of me to keep this gem all to myself. Enjoy every part of the home and the private fenced in backyard. You can also enjoy the great outdoors with a slew of nearby activities such as: Hiking, wine tasting, Skiing.

Overall a lovely family trip

The check-in process was the easiest I’ve ever had and the owner was most responsive and kind. The home is a very comfortable family place. My kids loved having the downstairs to themselves where they had their own TV and comfy couch. The beds were very comfortable, but my only comment would be to have extra blankets if you’re someone who sleeps very cold. There are space heaters everywhere, and they work great, but extra blankets are a good idea as it’s drafty. I loved having many kitchen basics available and it’s obviously a very well loved and lived in family house. Easy drive to Leland. Could use some minor repairs (loose tile in the kitchen, window seals, etc) but would happily stay again.

Family

Upon arrival, we were very happy at how easy it was to access the front entrance from the driveway. The house was very clean and more spacious than the photos indicated plus we enjoyed the multiple doors that led to three spacious decks. The layout of the kitchen allowed for the gathering of 9 adults and 3 children as we prepped and served our meals. The bedrooms were comfortable, and the bathrooms were clean. Both the main living room and family/game room were inviting, especially after a long day of snow play. The location of the house was perfect for short trips to various Snow parks within a 20 minute drive time. Overall, we were very pleased with our rental, which easily and comfortably accommodated our family, allowing us to have a fantastic holiday.

Winter Family Gathering

The house was nearly perfect for us, a great layout for our activities and beautifully appointed with furnishings that matched the craftsman-style design. The kids loved the downstairs and we enjoyed the living and dining rooms a lot.

Summer time getaway

The house was very spacious and it felt like home. However, there was no a/c and it was so hot in the house. The house was 90 degrees even with all windows open. I would not recommend to rent in the summer time unless a/c is install.

Spacious house, needs air conditioning

Spacious house with great potential, loved all the tucked in spaces and the basement is great for hanging out. Our only issue was the heat - it was 95+ weekend when we went (last week of June) and it was unbearable even with all the fans + plus some of our own fans.

Outstanding!!!

Great cabin for a weekend getaway and vacation stay! Had everything and more for our family. Cabin was excellent for our ski weekend at Dodge Ridge. Wish we would have stayed longer as we didn’t want to leave. We will be booking again.... Thanks!

Nice house close to Dodge Ridge

Very spacious house, great for large families. The owner is very responsive, and resolved AC issue the same day. I would recommend this property to anyone skiing on Dodge Ridge
