Deception, we booked this property at a premium price and it was listed as a 4 bedroom. Upon arrival it was obvious that much of the building is fully under construction at this time and the building was dirty, front of house staff had no details about our booking, called other staff on the phone, who called a separate contact for finally provide confirmation of booking to the front desk. Valet took our bags. We were approximately one hour early so we vacated to get something to eat in the meantime, toured the makeshift pool area and limited beach access along with the overall poor condition of the exterior.
We returned to retrieve access to our *4 bedroom* condo already feeling uneasy. We exited the elevator to the unit and the entire carpeted hallway was covered in plastic, a very uncomfortable feeling. The unit upon entry was dirty, as if everything was covered in a layer of film, dust....the windows were dirty, the patio door had contraction tape on it, the patio furniture scattered about. There was no TV in the main living area (not a huge issue when traveling I realize) and the sofa was worn, adjacent to a large ring light which we found very strange and couldn't help but get the impression that this unit was more like an elicit movie setting......
Our adult children just looked at us in awe of what we had booked for our family holiday. I immediately reached out to the owner of the unit (or so I assume) and informed him that we would be leaving immediately.
