Before arrival, Ketty informed us not to flush wipes due to a previous septic issue, but said it had been resolved. We were warmly welcomed and immediately loved the backyard and pool. The home was spacious, and we were excited to celebrate our friend’s 60th birthday.Unfortunately, by day three, plumbing issues began.The middle bathroom toilet leaked.Ketty and her cousin came and told us not to use that toilet until morning & DO NOT flush toilet paper in any bathroom.That evening, sewage came up through the master shower drain.They came and cleaned it and that toilet was now out of order. We only had one working toilet for seven women.The next day, the septic tank was pumped, and we were told the issue was resolved.However, sewage soon backed up from the kitchen bathroom.The septic technician opened an outside drain, not the septic tank, saying there was a blockage.Ketty and her cousin returned and used chemicals rather than a licensed plumber.We were told to not use it until after 9:00 pm.That night, the toilet leaked from the base.The next day they tried to shop vac the drain and dumped waste in the backyard.We spent 3 of our 6 days dealing with ongoing, unresolved plumbing issues & not flushing toilet paper.Six women were left sharing one bathroom. The home was advertised with three bathrooms and a jetted tub, which we could not use. What was supposed to be a relaxing vacation turned into a stressful and unsanitary experienced.
