“We had a lovely stay. The Queens room, with the tub was great after a day of sightseeing. The food was great and the staff was very friendly with suggestions and just great to chat with. Would stay there again.”

“Away from the main city . Hotel location is quiet silent , lot of green farms behind the hotel.Hotel building is very old but well maintained . Hotel foods are very nice also the staff’s are fantastic and very helpful. They can improve cleaning in parking area and external stairs and inside corridors. Overall it’s a nice place to short stays”

“We received such a warm welcome at The Boars Head. It felt like everything in the room was really high spec. Loved that we had a stocked fridge (you had to pay for most items, though!) with free milk and a free dram each, too! A espresso machine with good choice of coffees and tea bags. The decor was beautiful, the shower was powerful. The toiletries smelt wonderful - always good to get conditioner supplied, too - A marker of a good quality hotel, in my opinion! “Convenient location on the main street in Burntisland. Around 5-6 minute walk from the train station. The train into the Edinburgh Waverly Station, center Edinburgh, departs every 20-25, minutes and takes around 30 minutes into Edinburgh. My room was large, with a large screen TV, Hot water kettle. No mini fridge. No elevator. My room faced the backyard so it was quiet. The window opened a little to let in fresh air.”

“Although the suite itself was beautiful and the bed was very comfortable, unfortunately our stay was overshadowed by several issues. The lights in the room didn’t work properly, which was frustrating from the start. The door to the suite constantly rattled whenever the downstairs door opened and shut, and because of the lack of soundproofing you could hear every conversation from below.
