“Rating high because overall it was a very pleasant experience. It was rather uncomfortable for me as I'd chosen a specific cabin based on furnishings due to some mobility issues and was switched to another cabin. The couch and much of the other seating was not very comfortable for me because of this, but I did agree to the switch and was informed beforehand, so that is on me. Otherwise, wonderful communication, very clean, and the location is so beautiful. The goats, donkeys, and chickens we saw...

“Talk about being in the middle of no where, Ricks cabin is that. The cabin is situated 6 miles out of Comfort situated in the hills about 1800 feet above sea level. Getting to the cabin can be challenging but follow Ricks directions to the tee and you will be ok. On the way out we made a mistake and followed GPS directions, took a wrong turn and ended up driving down a really rough unpaved road leading to a really spooky looking cabin. The previous rave reviews are spot on with their commentary...

“excellent location. we walked through the entire town. Genuine Texan friendliness. soft sheets and towels. good king mattress. well appointed house with thoughtful features. Fully equipped kitchen with spices and cooking oil. Fire woods, lighter, ice trays, coffee, dish washer/ laundry detergent. Lovely front porch with fragant china lily flowering tree. private cozy back porch. Highly recommended. Will stay again”
