“The facility was well-maintained and the manager provided excellent assistance. However, my interaction with one of the front desk representatives, specifically the individual who is African American and gay with glasses, was quite unprofessional. It is evident that he requires further training. Despite this, my overall experience would have warranted a rating of 10. Nevertheless, I have decided to rate it a 7.5 due to the encounters with the representative.”

“Garage key didn’t work so I had to park on the street until someone would answer the phone. Car was towed and after retrieving the car it still took three hours to get a working garage key ”

“Room was really clean and cool. Can tell the property is new and there’s nothing wrong with that. Great TV with remote. Nice little balcony area. The music for the bar is loud and runs late but if you’re used to that then you’ll be fine. No mini fridge, coffee maker, or microwave. Those are my only complaints. And it would be cool to have ice available at all times. ”

“The place has character and seems to be well taken care of. Breakfast is different and well prepared, but not that filling. Our biggest problem was not getting any hot water in the shower or the bathroom sink tap even after letting the water run for 20 minutes with the knob turned to the max on the right hand side (tried other settings too). And the bnb message about the access code did not arrive “within 48h of check-in” as given in the Expedia description, but just 5 hours before check-in,...

“We loved our stay at The Brown Hotel! Charming older hotel. Restaurant/bars were wonderful, staff was very friendly and helpful, room was clean and comfortable. Location was a little away from 4th St and Whiskey Row, but easy 1 mile walk to attractions. Highly recommend The Brown Hotel!”

“Well located B&B in old Louisville. Rooms were clean and well equipped. Breakfast each morning was a culinary treat! Truly delicious food. Annette, our Innkeeper, was absolutely delightful. She was helpful and informative. The carpet in 3rd floor bedrooms are overdue for replacement. But it is a charming property. We also had James working at the inn during our stay, and he was very helpful as well. Staff that we interacted with were outstanding.”

“This hotel was beautiful. The room was perfect and comfy with lots of extra details. We were there during a busy time and they took security of hotels guests seriously and kept traffic within the hotel very monitored. The customer service was above and beyond. I would stay here again and wish this hotel was in every city I visited!”

“The property was lovely. The rooms were extremely clean, but what made my experience top-tier….. Were the employees!!! There were three people that I saw working during my stay. They were all African-American. There was a Lady, a younger gentleman and an older gentleman. All of them were just wonderful. I wasn’t a fan of the parking situation, but it was in downtown so it is what it is but due to how wonderful the staff was I’d come back again even though I didn’t enjoy the parking situation....

“This hotel did not feel like a Marriott. It felt a little dated. The floor plan was a little awkward. I never did find an ice machine. Parking garage was bit secure. There were also issues with the elevator and only one was operating most of the weekend. All of that being said, I would STILL give this hotel 5 stars and will DEFINITELY return in the future. The staff was second to none and more than eager to help out or just say a friendly hello the entire trip. The rooms, the pool, the...
