“Reception staff sullen; restaurant staff overrun, service slow.
Food quality poor.
Hotel looks good but otherwise nothing special. Shower awful - hot then cold, lost pressure during my shower.
Grounds have some interesting photo opportunities for weddings but disjointed and tacky for any other time.”

“Lovely place to stay and staff were so welcoming and helpful. We enjoyd the hearty breakfast. The location is great to travel by train in to Cardiff city centre.
We will return and hopefully arrive earlier to fit in an evening meal - menu looked good.”

“Breakfast was very good and in a lovely peaceful garden.
Staff in the hotel were fantastic, really helpful even under pressure. It was horribly hot the weekend that we were there (unusual for Cardiff) but they did everything possible to make us comfortable with fans (no air-conditioning).”

“The place was not just a hotel but a lovely venue for weddings. There was a wedding everyday.
The food was delicious. The country view was very relaxing.
Will definitely go back again!”

“Staff very friendly and helpful, the room was in poor repair without a main light and the extra bed was broken.We are non smokers and they gave us a smoking room that stank of cigarettes smoke.”
