“The staff was great!!!! However, If you like to wake up at 2 AM with teens jumping on each other in the hall. Or be given a balcony room with a beautiful view of an empty pool, dirt, pipes as they refurbish the pool area. (Why did they not give rooms away from that when the hotel was NOT full). “I was really disappointed with my stay at Bayshore Resorts. From the start, the room felt incomplete, no clock, no phone, not even a pen and pad. The balcony was dirty, mirrors grimy, and no washcloths in the bathroom. And when you say ‘resort,’ you expect some basics, like a coffee maker or lite breakfast. There weren’t any. To top it off, the elevator was out, so we had to drag ourselves up three flights. The hallways were disgusting! spiderwebs, dust, zero care. And the swimming pool was out...

“Too early in the season for the pool to be active, but it looked nice. Staff were all very nice, even let us check in a couple hours early.”

“The property was listed as pet friendly on Expedia, which was the primary reason I booked it. Pets not allowed. Expedia contacted the property manager regarding the discrepancy, and despite my providing screenshots clearly showing the property advertised as pet friendly, the refund request was denied. This was extremely disappointing customer service, especially given that this was a mid-week, off-season reservation with very low likelihood that the room would have otherwise been occupied. “The room was very clean and welcoming. Breakfast was very nice with many options to choose from. I loved the little scones!!! We sat out on the patio and had breakfast overlooking the water which was lovely. ”
