Citato da un affittuario "Questa proprietà ha una vista da un milione di dollari!" Questa è semplicemente una delle migliori viste sul fiume CT. Ammira le viste panoramiche sul fiume e osserva il sole che tramonta davanti ai tuoi occhi sul nostro ampio ponte. Di notte goditi un silenzio quasi completo mentre guardi le stelle attorno alla buca per il fuoco.
La casa è stata completamente rinnovata e nuova per il mercato degli affitti nel 2011. Situata a 2. 5 miglia dal Castello di Saint Clements, questa casa di 3700 piedi quadrati offre soffitti a volta, foyer in marmo, banconi in granito, pavimenti in legno, grande ponte, due caminetti, cucina all'avanguardia "touch", la tua spiaggia privata e l'elenco su. Quasi ogni camera ha una vista sul fiume. ** Ora dormiamo 9 persone, abbiamo aggiunto un futon alla stanza degli ospiti, fornite lenzuola **

Il livello 1 dispone di tre camere da letto, 2 camere con letti matrimoniali, 1 camera con letto a castello, tutte con vista sul fiume. Il bagno completo ha doppi lavandini con ripiani in granito e una doccia / vasca. C'è anche un soggiorno inferiore con TV LCD 43 'con un divano e giochi per sedersi e rilassarsi.

Livello 2- Affacciato sul fiume, il piano principale dispone di lavanderia, bagno di servizio, angolo colazione, cucina gourmet con elettrodomestici touch inossidabile. La cucina è completamente fornita con pentole, padelle, utensili, quasi tutto il necessario per cucinare. Il soggiorno ha una TV da 60 'con audio surround a 7 canali, divano in pelle e poltrona. La sala da pranzo ha un grande tavolo in ciliegio con posti a sedere per 6-8.
Esci fuori dall'enorme ponte per ammirare viste panoramiche e tramonti spettacolari. Il ponte dispone di una TV LCD da 32 'esterna, altoparlanti esterni, divani e sedie a sdraio con cuscini imbottiti, ampio tavolo da pranzo per otto persone, focolare a propano con posti a sedere per otto persone, grill e altalena con sedia ad aria e amaca sottostante.

Livello 3- Il livello superiore presenta il bagno principale con doppio lavandino, bancone in granito. La doccia splendidamente piastrellata ha una porta di vetro pieno, 4 spray per il corpo e una doccia a pioggia. La camera da letto principale ha il suo piccolo terrazzo con vista sul fiume, una TV da 50 ', un camino con un set di tronchi di propano e un grande armadio. L'ultima stanza al piano superiore è lo studio / camera da letto con una TV Google da 23 ', un futon e un posto vicino al finestrino per godersi la vista. (WiFi e TV satellitare in tutta la casa)

Spent weekend here to visit a student at Wesleyan about 20 min away. Secluded, peaceful with beautiful views. This house has everything we needed! Even on a rainy weekend the location was perfect. Can’tWait to come back and enjoy the beautiful outdoor deck some day!

Beautiful house, sitting high and overlooking the Connecticut River. Can't imagine a more beautiful setting. Very large kitchen, great for cooking in with friends. Even has an adjacent helicopter pad (although it's $4k to go from Hartford airport to the house, 1-way!). Had a great time.

My husband and our adult children spent a wonderful long weekend at this beautiful, spacious, clean, and well appointed property. It was a perfect location to gather and enjoy each other’s company. The deck is especially stunning with amazing views. Although there are plenty of restaurants nearby, we did our own cooking in the spacious kitchen. Another feature we enjoyed was the ability to be all together without ever feeling cramped. And the host was easily available for any questions. We highly recommend this lovely property!

The house was a perfect place to celebrate my husbands Birthday> loved the layout of the house and the views!!! The stairs down to the river were under construction and it made it a bit scary, especially for kids. would of liked a heads up on that. overall a great experience and would love to go back

Very nice large house with huge deck and beautiful views. Two days before arrival owner notified me that stairs to beach were under construction but still would have full access. Stairs (178 of them) and temporary railing were very shaky and did not feel safe. There were also tools and construction debris on and around them. Our main reason for choosing this house was for ‘beachfront’ access, so not being safe to use to get down to water was disappointing. A couple of people in our group went all the way down and said there was also construction debris on small beach. If we knew we were not going to be able to use beach, we would have chosen less expensive accommodations.

A number of friends and I stayed here to be nearby our friends wake and memorial service. It was a really nice homely, quiet space that had plenty of room for everyone and the view over the river is gorgeous. Would love to come back sometime for more uplifting circumstances

The house and views are beautiful. We had 9 of us including 2 5 year olds and a 2 year old. We made a full Thanksgiving dinner in the well equipped kitchen. The house has very large "public" spaces on the main floor, which was great for our group. Had a great stay everything we needed was near by and there are literally no neighbors once you reach the house. The front porch and fire pit are great although pretty cold when we were there. My only suggestion is that for a group our size a few more comfortable chairs inside would be appreciated.

I rented this property with six of my friends and we had such a great time! The deck area was perfect. We were fortunate with amazing weather so we ate all of our meals out there and enjoyed the fire pit each evening. There were hiking trails close by and some excellent restaurants just a 10 to 15 minute drive away. I would definitely recommend this property for anyone looking for a larger group to get together.

We have a very nice time, the pictures and description is accurate. The view is pretty & it was neat to see all the different boats during the day. Dean was extremely responsive, great host. If you’re looking for a workout definitely hit the stairs going down to the river! There is a very cute vineyard/winery just 5 minutes down the road, highly recommended.

We had an amazing visit at the river house. The views are breathtaking and the pictures don't do it justice. The deck was so relaxing from coffee in the mornings all the way through to sunset in the evenings. The interior of the home was lovely and very comfortable as well - MANY extra amenities provided which was very nice. The only thing that could be added would be directions on how to use some of the features of the home. However, Dean was very quick to respond and give answers to all questions. The location was perfect - very secluded yet very close to town for restaurants and grocery stores. We truly enjoyed the time there and would love to visit again!

We enjoyed our time here. The weather was great and the view from the deck is fabulous. The stairs to the river are a great workout for those in good shape or young but if you aren't someone who exercises regularly or you're older, you may want to plan to just stay on the deck and in the house. We enjoyed using the kayak and canoe.

The property is nicely secluded and located in a stunning setting, with fantastic views over the river and a beautiful, large deck from where to apprieciate it all. The master bedroom is also great. The common area is open and light. The kitchen is modern and well-provisioned. So, overall a very good place to stay. A couple areas for potential improvement that made this a 4-star, rather than 5-star, experience: * "Bedroom" 5 is not a suitable bedroom for a 9th guest, as the "futon" is not sleepable (and we are not primadonnas), so our 9th guest slept on sofa cushions on the floor This could be easily rectified with a proper futon/sofa at minimal expense (and sheets should be provided). *The bedroom with the bunk beds does not have a railing along the top bunk, which made the kids too scared to sleep there for fearing of falling off * The inside common area with sofas/TV has seating for only five people and when you have nine people at the house, this doesn't work so well. Again, easily rectified by adding another small couch (there is space to do so). * Generally, our interaction with Dean was very good and he was always responsive. One exception was that we arrived to discover that the oven was not working (which Dean was getting repaired), but it would have been nice to have a heads up in advance so that we could have planned our food accordingly. Notwithstanding these issues, however, we all had a really good stay and would definitely recommend this place.

This house was fabulous. Truly a perfect fit for our large family. Teens had there own space on the bottom floor and the parents had a quiet bedroom upstairs. Stunning view and perfect location for our needs. We will book again whenever we come back to the area. Host was awesome as well! 5 star rating!
