“The rental was a perfect cottage apartment on a beautiful farm. Morning coffee in the rockers on the porch with the most delicious crumb cake provided by the host. It was lovely.”

“An exceptional property in an amazing location. One of a kind. Very clean and comfortable. Highly recommend for a quiet retreat. Be aware that it is quite isolated and bring whatever food or beverages you prefer. The cottage has a full kitchen stove, microwave, refrigerator and dishwasher. Lots of dishes and silverware. There is a Keurig coffeemaker and pods, etc. and a few energy bars were left out but I was glad that I had brought my own (microwaveable) dinner and snacks.”

“The only regret we have is not staying more than one night! Kay and Joe were great hosts. Kay provided a lot of recommendations for wineries, restaurants, and things to do. The location is central to a number of wineries and incredible views. The Love Nest is well stocked with all the essentials and several bonuses, too! “Great spot for a two night stay. Super convenient location for our purposes. Safe neighborhood. This room is great but is part of a larger house so expect to hear some host noise like talking, cooking or dogs. The room itself and the outdoor sitting area were great! The shower was great with hot water and shampoo and conditioner provided. Bed was super comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.”

“We were staying at the schoolhouse to go hiking and ride bikes. They house has been tastefully decorated. I enjoyed the quite community and the listening to the tree frogs at night. Front Royal has a few things you can enjoy such as the movie theatre, bakery and state park. I would highly recommend this propery.”
