Cottage a Midhurst

“The bungalow was well appointed and clean. However the bathroom had some mould on the tiles, and on the non slip bath mat . Otherwise it was clean and comfortable. We were really pleased to be moved there after the flat we had booked was dirty and stank of cigarette smoke. That flat should not be on your books.”

“We booked this spacious and comfortable bungalow for our Christmas break. It was ideally situated to visit sights such as Uppark, Arundel, Petworth, Midhurst, Pulborough and Chichester - all within ,30 minutes drive. “Mayaro was a great cottage to stay in. We booked last minute and Inspire were great at getting it organised, and the welcome pack was lovely to find especially as we booked within 48 hours of arrival. Some owners don't bother anymore which is is shame so it was lovely to find welcome bits. The cottage is lovely and cosy, two good sized bedrooms and the best equipped kitchen I've ever found! It's an annex to the house, but we didn't hear the owners next door - and hopefully we didn't disturb...

“Pros - great location, near pub and nice coffee shop. Short walk to beach. Cons - not very clean on arrival, mould problem in bathroom, strong damp smell throughout property. Had planned to cook but found mould growing on wooden spoons and cobwebs on the pans - so ate out instead! Having read through the comments in the visitor book we could see these issues had been raised several times, so it’s disappointing they haven’t been addressed. Would not stay again.”

“wow what a lovely property in such lovely settings with friendly owners and there daughter who was there to see everything was fine. property is spacious with lovely views. so handy to visit many places due to the A3 which u can hear a bit if outside but nothing that spoils the beauty of the location. there lots of wildlife like deer and owl if your looking for tapas as a meal then faustinos in Midhurst was lovely and such a wide choice there's supermarket within 10min drive would so stay again...

“Had a lovely stay at Sea Breezes - was a great space for 2 families (4 adults, 4 kids) with everything we needed. Lovely sunsets over Pagham Lagoon and only a short walk to the cafe, amusements, shops and (amazing) fish and chip shop.”

“We had an eventful Christmas stay unfortunately, as one of our party had an accident in the barn. Our review is to highlight the great customer service we received from Inspire Stays, who helped us enormously in locating and covering the cost of a wheelchair rental on Christmas Eve. They went over and above and we're very grateful. The barn was a lovely space but we weren't really able to enjoy it as we would have wished to.”

“We had a lovely week at Apple Tree Barn, the barn was warm and comfortable and the space was just right for three of us. We found it was in a great location for local days out and it was convenient to have the small village shop within walking distance. There were good facilities for staying in and cooking basic meals, although the kitchen would not necessarily be suitable for longer stays.”

“Beautiful Annexe cottage. The owner lives next door and is very helpful. Well-equipped and clean. Small kitchen but adequate. Other rooms are large and spacious. Would happily return.”
