The Creek House Near Yosemite

The Creek House è una casa di 1068 piedi quadrati. Tutta la nuova costruzione. Situato tra le querce e 8 acri di terreno privato a Midpines, in California. Una community di Yosemite Gateway. Abbiamo due insenature stagionali e un torrente tutto l'anno sulla proprietà. 2. 3 miglia su una strada asfaltata dalla Yosemite Highway 140 tutto l'anno. Offre un ambiente tranquillo e un po 'di privacy. La proprietà si estende su 12 acri di terreno BLM per un totale di 20 acri da percorrere.

La casa è un bagno completo con 2 camere da letto 2. Con un letto estraibile nel soggiorno. Una cucina completa completa la disposizione del pavimento. Le porte-finestre si aprono sul soggiorno dove si viene accolti da soffitti alti e una disposizione che dà una sensazione di spaziosità. Una grande porta finestra scorrevole si apre su un patio privato e tavoli all'aperto e un barbecue Weber. Le camere sono situate alle estremità opposte della casa. I nuovissimi letti queen size ti accolgono per una notte di sonno confortevole. La camera da letto principale ha il suo bagno privato completo e di grandi dimensioni. La camera da letto principale ha anche un piccolo patio e una porta finestra scorrevole. La seconda camera da letto si trova proprio accanto all'altro bagno completo. Entrambe le camere hanno aria condizionata e controllo del calore indipendenti e ventilatori a soffitto. Il soggiorno ha una TV a schermo piatto da 40 pollici con Roku. Due comodi divani e una poltrona. Comandi indipendenti AC / riscaldamento e ventilatore a soffitto. Pavimenti in piastrelle nei bagni e splendidi pavimenti in laminato in tutto il resto della casa danno un senso di relax. La cucina è completamente attrezzata con utensili da cucina, pentole, padelle, set di coltelli da cucina, taglieri, frullatore, tostapane e tutto il necessario per preparare un pasto abbondante. C'è caffè tostato, tè e zucchero. La dispensa ha olio da cucina, olio d'oliva e libri di cucina colorati. Una griglia per le spezie completa la cucina. Un sacco di parcheggio gratuito. Luci esterne e illuminazione di sicurezza. È incluso anche il WIFI gratuito, tuttavia siamo in una zona rurale e non garantiamo la velocità e la connettività del WIFI. Riceviamo un segnale Verizon a The Creek House.

Siamo a 15 minuti dal centro storico di Mariposa. Il fiume Merced è a 10 minuti in auto. Pesca, nuoto, rafting e relax ti aspettano. Siamo a 40 minuti in auto dall'ingresso del Parco Nazionale di Yosemite ea 60 minuti in auto dalla Valle di Yosemite. Il viaggio in auto è il bellissimo fiume Merced, quindi per favore fai un po 'di tempo in più per le foto. C'è anche un servizio di autobus dalla zona di Midpines a Yosemite.

Non vediamo l'ora del vostro soggiorno presso The Creek House. La Turchia selvaggia, cervi, quaglie, falchi e innumerevoli altre specie attendono. Sorseggia il tuo caffè al mattino e ascolta la brezza che soffia tra gli alberi.

Great stay and fun at Yosemite.

While the home in in a rural area, we liked that no noisy neighbors. The place is very clean and quiet. One morning we had deer in the backyard and a different evening wild turkeys. It has a split floor plan which is great for privacy.

Great location!

This place was perfect for accessing the whole area. We were at the house for a week and found it SO nice to be close to main Yosemite valley and therefore the ENTIRE park. Quiet area as well with nice sunsets.

Great base home when visiting Yosemite National Park!

Very clean and comfortable 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom home. Kitchen was easy to cook meals and well stocked. Had many pantry extras that I appreciated. Bed was comfortable and bathroom large with a good hot shower. About 40 minutes to the Arch Rock entrance with a beautiful drive. Grocery store was about 15 minutes away. Hosts were very responsive and generous. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again if ever in the area.

Simply wonderful!

We absolutely loved this cabin. The location was convenient for visiting Yosemite to start. In addition, the cabin was ideal for our needs. The beds were VERY comfortable. Communication with the hosts was done by text and everything went well. The cabin was very well stocked and VERY clean. We would happily stay again.

Wonderful stay

Creek House was in a good location with plenty of amenities nearby. Kitchen fully equipped and bed very comfortable. Rest of the space was furnished to a high standard including a welcomed air conditioning unit and washer/dryer. All areas were extremely clean. We enjoyed our trips to Yosemite which was within a commutable distance from the property. Hiking was excellent and the views were amazing. The weather was kind to us too with mainly hot & dry days and warm nights. The main reason for staying in Midpines was to access the Park and we weren't disappointed with the accommodation, it surpassed all our expectations. Communication between ourselves and Dean & Angie was good and they greeted us with a few treats for our stay….. thanks. Definitely recommend this property and hopefully will return one day.

Property was pretty clean. Plenty of items to make it feel like home. Clean up was easy and directions were laid out appropriately. Little far (1 hour at least) from Yosemite. Town of mariposa is ok.

lovely property BUT.......

The location and the home were very good. Only issue giving this stay a poor rating was the water from the faucets. The water was brown with visible sediment which would settle in the glass etc after a few minutes. Even the ice was brown.We had to buy bottled water for drinking, cooking etc.... something we don't normally like to purchase.When showering we didn't know if the brown on the washcloth was due to dirt from hiking or what was coming out of the showerhead. To me this water was/is a health hazard and and the property should not be allowed to rented if this condition occurs regularly or not until the problem is corrected. If we had known that there was a possibility of this happening we would not have rented this home.

Pleasantly surprised.

We were a little skeptical about the location while traveling to the property. Once we reached the property and checked in we realized we found a great place to stay. It was clean and quiet. If you are going to visit Yosemite give it try!

Wonderful little hide away!

Deer and bunnies visiting our front yard each morning. We took some long time friends who had never been to Yosemite. This house was a perfect place to enjoy the times we weren't in the park. Two large bedrooms and bathrooms, perfect for two couples. A well-appointed kitchen with everything we needed including a rice cooker and electric skillet. We would definitely stay here again when we are in the area.

Has everything you need to have a great time

The property is very clean, quiet, and has everything you need. The owners are very nice and very responsive to questions. I will text any random question and will hear back typically within minutes. They are also very attentive to details. Using bbq as an example, they of course have a bbq grill, bbq tools, and charcoal ready, but in addition, they will have newpaper cut to right size to help with lighting the charcoal. I wish the internet was faster, but that's a lot to ask for such a remote location. In summary, we had a wonderful stay and will definitely stay same place next time.

Clean, comfy house with easy access to Yosemite

The property was just as advertised and described. It was immaculately clean and well stocked and all appliances were in working condition. The house & furniture were very comfortable. You can even catch a decent sunset from the hill in the backyard. Most people in this area are here for Yosemite. And you certainly don't want to miss it. But don't forget there are lots of non Yosemite places to go if you want some relief from the crowds in Yosemite Valley. We went on short hikes from various river access points like the Merced River Recreation area in Briceburg and Bagby Recreation area Lake McClure where we spent a lovely Sunday and saw only two other people. Usually we go to Forest Service road areas but so many are closed this year that I decided to expand my search for less heavily used locations. We were surprised & thrilled that Glacier Point rd opened the Friday while we were there. We spent a great day up there mostly around Sentinel Dome but around on the right side where you get a full on view of half dome. I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to get there. On Wednesday we saw a huge backup at the left turn from Yosemite onto the road to Wawona and Glacier Point. We also were held up for about 30 minutes from construction when we were entering the park, just after the pay station. However on Friday it was clear and no construction was going on so it made for an easier trip. Anyway, back to the house & property. It was a great spot to just hang out in the yard or on the lawn furniture. The internet all over that part of CA isn't great in terms of speed. But most people don't go to Yosemite for internet access so I just went outside. Mariposa is an easy drive and nice town with plenty of shopping available. That's where we bought groceries. Personally I prefer Midpines/Mariposa to the Wawona side and prefer coming in on 140. The owner, Dean, was great to deal with. There was excellent communication and whenever I had a question he responded almost immediately. It was always a pleasure coming back to the house after a long day of activity. Only wish we could have stayed longer. I've never been out there in the spring and the wildflowers everywhere were amazing. And the crowds are less than during the summer & school vacations. It's always busy but this summer should be interesting as you need to have a reservation to get into the park. If you go this place makes a great base!

A Beautiful Stay
