“The room smelled bad! The space was microscopic. We had to work when we were there and the table wasn’t a table more like a 4 inch ledge. Altogether, we won’t be going back to Tru hotels…ever.
Staff wasn’t mean or anything just very un-helpful. And uninterested in helping.
We had to ask all the questions: What is our room number? Where are the elevators? When is breakfast? When is checkout?”

“The ac was not working in the actual hotel itself but thankfully the rooms were cool. We always try to stay at Home 2 Suites when we travel especially in other states. The College Station location seems subpar compared to the many others we’ve stayed at previously.”

“The room reeked of smoke. We were supposed to stay two nights but left early because the smell was so bad and they had no other rooms. We were traveling with our 9 month old. They said there was nothing they could do. The smell was so bad when we unpacked our things later everything had the smell of smoke in it. Definitely will not be staying here again. I don’t know how the cleaning service went in and thought it was possible with the smell so bad it clung to our items”
