Un posto nei boschi ........

Il Mille Lacs Lodge con oltre 5000 piedi quadrati è situato su oltre 25 ettari che è meno di un quarto di miglio dalla Mille Lacs Wildlife Management Area. Perfettamente ambientato con i caldi interni in legno e l'appeal nordico, il lodge offre sistemazioni ideali per tutto l'anno. Camere pulite e confortevoli, cucina in stile commerciale completamente attrezzata e spazio per distendersi, è l'ambiente ideale per ritiri artigianali, riunioni di famiglia e vacanze, viaggi d'affari e riunioni, o semplicemente una vacanza con un gruppo di amici. Rilassati sulla veranda coperta, accoccolati davanti al camino o scatta qualche giro di piscina. Tavolo spazio per i pasti e accesso Wi-Fi per artigiani o riunioni rendono davvero il Mille Lacs Lodge il luogo perfetto per quasi tutti i gruppi si riuniscono e offre uno spazio che è personalizzabile in base alle proprie esigenze.


Il piano principale dispone di tre camere da letto con bagno e due letti full size in ogni camera. Anche al piano principale è un bagno accessibile per disabili 1/4. Camino a due piani, grande TV satellitare con lettore DVD, area giochi da tavolo, cucina in stile commerciale con sala da pranzo standard per venti persone. Due porte finestre sul piano principale per la visione della fauna selvatica.


Il secondo piano ha una zona tavolo da biliardo, area per bambini per guardare DVD e un'altra area salotto per rilassarsi e visitare. Un totale di due letti singoli, quattro letti full size e un letto matrimoniale comprendono le tre camere da letto al secondo piano. Ci sono due bagni con docce situati al secondo piano. Ci sono due porte finestre che si aprono su un grande ponte con area salotto.


All'esterno troverete un rifugio coperto con tavoli da picnic. C'è un pozzo del fuoco per godersi durante le ore serali fresche e un grande cortile di erba per correre intorno a giochi di un cortile giochi.

Family reunion

This is the second time we have stayed at A place in the Woods for a family reunion. Wonderful accommodations for the 18 of us that stayed there, and the 20 others that came for a day. Our host Tammy was very helpful and responded immediately to questions or concerns. Lots of room inside to gather and still be able to spread out. The kitchen and refrigerator are industrial size and well equipped. The dining area could sit 30 easily. The beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms clean and well stocked with towels etc. The pool table and foosball were a big hit with the teens. The grounds were well taken care of and spacious. NO mosquitoes! Great firepit. The pavilion and picnic tables allowed us to gather and eat outside too. Many games and play areas outside. We were very happy with our stay and will be back.

Second Stay, Family Reunion

This was our family's second time to stay at this property. We had a fabulous time. The kitchen area makes meal prep a breeze for a large group and the outdoor grounds gave us plenty of space to play yard games and volleyball. Great way to spend a long weekend!

Perfect for cousins weekend

We stayed here with our adult cousins for the weekend. The place was perfect for everyone to hang out and enjoy games inside and in the yard. Tammy went above and beyond to make the stay incredible. There were even more games and amenities than listed and we had an amazing time!

Girls weekend

We had a wonderful girls weekend at the Lodge. The gather spaces are hard to beat. Our whole group could be together in all the spaces. The kitchen was awesome and fully stocked. We are already looking to book again at a coed group. Thank you Tammy.

We call ourselves “The Old Timers Elk River Wrestling Extravaganza” group!!!!

We were a group of 18… had planned for 20, but 2 backed out staying overnights. WE….LOVED….THIS…PLACE!!! It was warm, cozy, comfy, accommodating, roomy, clean… we really can’t say enough!!! Highly Highly recommend!! There are a few of us that want to bring other groups back ( our own (families) ❤️ And this doesn’t even mention how sweet and wonderful Tammy is ❤️ THANKS FOR SHARING YOUR VRBO!!!

Low key weekend

The accommodations and layout of the property were perfect for a bunch of friends to hang out. The industrial kitchen was stocked with pots and pans, utensils, and plenty of dishware. It was nice to walk around the property, play yard games, and sit around the fire. All-in-all it was just what we needed for a low key but fun weekend.

Wonderful Place!!

This place is perfect for a large group stay! Plenty of room to sleep! And lots of bathrooms so there's no waiting. It was so clean and we had everything we needed there, and lots of yard for any games. Tammy is wonderful to work with! I also loved that they had cute merchandise to purchase there, it was a great touch! Definitely recommend this Cabin in the Woods!

Amazing family stay

Our family had a blast during our stay at Mille Lacs Lodge! The kids and adults all enjoyed the spacious lodge and outdoor areas. Memories were made making s’mores around the campfire, playing volleyball, cooking meals together in the kitchen, and playing wiffleball in the large outdoor space. Tammy (the owner) was very responsive to all of our questions and quick to provide help when needed. We loved our time there and highly recommend it!

Annual Family Summer Vacation Year 7

Exceptional family vacation in Minnesota. Everyone was thrilled with their time spent at Tammy's Millie Lac Lodge. A kitchen that has it all with a cooler that holds anything you need to keep cool and a freezer that let us get all the Ice Cream the Grandchildren could eat. So much fun! Campfires every night, a playground and outdoor shelter with plenty of room for fun meals outside. No insect bites was a huge accomplishment and we will brag about that for years to come. (There is a magic at Millie Lac Lodge that will always be in our hearts and memories. Grandpa loved his vacation and was given the opportunity to enjoy 12 wonderful Grandchildren and family from five states.

Home away from home.

We were very happy with our stay. The property had everything we needed. It was clean and spacious. There was a gas station near by if we ever ran out of anything, and state parks were close too for out door activities. Really recommend this property to others.

Beautiful and very comfortable place for a large family.

This was a beautiful property and it accommodated our big family very well. Lots of things to do indoors and outdoors. The host was amazing and responded quickly. Lots of things were provided and available for our usage. We will definitely be back!

Wildlife haven

We're very impressed with the kitchen set up. Plenty of room for all our refrigerator and freezer needs. The gas stove accomodated many cooks at the same time. Pool table was a hit with everyone. The grounds were amazing where we roasted many marshmallows and did a lot of hiking. We spotted the infamous albino deer. There were many beds to pick from and a lot of games were played both indoors and out Playground was enjoyed the grandkids. A very peaceful landing spot.

Perfect family gathering

Everything was as good as the pictures. Kitchen was a delight to use for a gathering of 20 people. Fun things to do for all ages, indoor and out. Everything was clean, working and in good repair. The place felt spacious. Host was attentive and helpful.

WONDERFUL place to stay

I would give this place a rating of 11 with 10 being the highest rating!!! Tammy was wonderful to have as our host. Everything was spotlessly clean and comfortable. All was SO WELL supplied that we had NOTHING that wasn't available for anything we needed. The comfortable spaces indoors as well as the large lawns and play equipment outside made this the perfect place for our family reunion, from our college age granddaughter to our one year old! Did I forget to mention the great setting for the bonfire which we enjoyed one night? Our kids have all told us that it was a perfect setting for all being together, as well as each family having their own rooms. It was awesome! I would HIGHLY recommend A Place in the Woods for any group.

Great for large groups

We rented Mille Lacs Lodge fir a large family get together. The house was clean, grounds were well maintained and the property could easily accommodate a group our size (16). Tammy was responsive and easy to reach. I would recommend this property for anyone looking for a venue that can handle a large grill up of all ages.

Great place for family reunion

18 women ages 6-69 spent 4 nights here, and would again. It was unbelievably supplied, not only with kitchen items for both cooking and serving, but with a wide variety of things to ensure our fun: volleyball net, balls of all sorts, playground equipment, fire ring with lots of chairs - and even toasting forks! - board games, many tables of different sizes which we put to good use for crafts, jigsaw puzzles, games, eating, etc., pool table, and on and on. The rooms were big, there were plenty of bathrooms, and everybody had a bed! Communication with our hostess was easy and prompt. Wonderful facility!

Big Private Lodge

Great time at the Mille Lacs Lodge. Was a fun time there and hosted our group great. Kitchen was a fun bonus to have for feeding our group. Loved that a lot of games were already there to keep us busy. Would definitely return.
