Cozy Ocean Front Retreat with Private Beach!

Updated 3 bedroom - 1.5 bath beach front house in desirable Milford, CT.

Master Bedroom overlooks Long Island Sound with picturesque wall to wall windows and vaulted ceiling. Waking up in the morning is serene! Comfortable spare bedrooms - one with two twin beds and a second with a double bed and smart TV. About a quarter mile away from the new 'Tyde at Walnut Beach' wedding and event venue, our home is conveniently located down a quiet lane off a dead-end; offering incredible privacy yet only a short walk or bike ride to shops and restaurants.
Open up the back sliders and step on to our newly constructed beach patio with BBQ. During high tide this patio actually sits over the water! Low tide offers sandy beaches perfect for clamming or hunting for oysters.
Off street parking (can accommodate two cars). Rental comes with kayaks which you can use to explore the coast, or for a bigger challenge paddle out to Charles Island a little over a mile off shore. Explore Milford shopping and nightlife, relax on the beach, or cozy up on the couch with a good movie and bowl of popcorn - make our home part of your annual family vacation and enjoy all it has to offer!

This house was fantastic!! Extremely clean, comfortable, very well stocked kitchen! Cozy gathering area and beautiful view from the living room & deck! Beds were comfortable. The master bedroom is large & comfortable and the view is unmatched!! Matt was fantastic and quick to respond when we had a question. I would give this home a 20 out of 10! Stunning!!

The Positives include: (beautiful view, solid kitchen, nice seating area, master bedroom very spacious, owners communications effective and pleasant) Negatives (you don't really control the thermostat, while you are there. You can set it, but than it reverts back hours later. You need to give control to the occupants. In addition, one shared bathroom/shower for everyone was annoying. If we had more occupants with us that would have been worse than it was. Its my fault for not noticing it when renting, but I don't think that would have prevented us from booking as the view is very worth it.) Overall very nice stay!

The view was fantastic. The water was right there and the deck was great. The kitchen was great and there was plenty of seating in the dining room and living room. The bedrooms were very large and the beds were comfortable. The bathrooms were clean and availability of having the washer and dryer turned out to be wonderful. The overall was fantastic. I would stay here again. The only thing I wish was a little different is the details of the cleaning. There were handprints and finger prints all over the glass sliding doors and there were a few areas in corners with dust dirt and a few cobwebs. For the price, I was expecting clean windows to look out at the ocean at. But again, the location can't be beat, the ocean, deck and beach were wonderful and I would recommend this place to friends and would stay here again!

The view from the primary bedroom was incredible! It was such a great stay. The deck had shade around three so it was perfect. It was clean and had everything you would need. Very quiet area and very nice neighbors .The communication with the owner was very good. Got back to me right away. Easy walk to the creamery and coffee shop. Lots to do or nothing to do but relax. Can’t wait to go back. Thanks Matt for sharing your beautiful home.

We have traveled to CT three years in a row, this was by far oir favorite house! We look forward to comkng back. Perfect beach spot, easy walking to ice cream, coffee shop and a few local restaurants! Very clean and accommodating. Excellent views, very friendly neighbors and people walking by.

A perfect spot to relax and unwind. The sounds of the ocean lulled us to sleep each night. This cozy ocean front home had everything a person could ask for from comfortable bedrooms to a kitchen that had all the essentials. We used the kayaks daily and a paddle board was also available. The Walnut Beach Creamery was a family favorite for ice cream, as well as La Catrina Taqueria for Mexican dishes. Both places are within walking distance from where we were staying. My family and I would recommend this beach front home to anyone who is searching for a tranquil beach experience.

Excellent Beach Front Home

This home and its owners were wonderful!!! My family wanted a comfortable beach house for an end of the summer stay. The house was immaculately clean, well stocked and comfortable. I highly recommend this home for family and friends. The location was perfect, including great nearby restaurants. Our family had a great time on the beach and with the home’s kayaks and paddle board. The sun rises and sets were picturesque- an added bonus to this rental.

Memorable experience

We were there with my 88 year-old mom who was in cancer recovery. We only got to spend the weekend, but it was extremely memorable. My mom passed away recently, and this was our goodbye. I have to say, I can’t think of a better way to have spent the time, just staring at the water and being able to escape to go kayak for a few minutes even and just relaxing on the deck with the family made this experience really incredible. Houses are easy to work with and attentive.

Beautiful sunrises!

We enjoyed our stay very much; a nice open floor plan and nice big kitchen area, comfortable couches and chairs. A gorgeous prospect out the Master bedroom.
