“We loved our stay in Cat Ba! Linda was an amazing host and the staff were so helpful. We had the most delicious hot pot there one evening. Linda helped us with all our planning. It had a quaint garden with puppies running around, and monkeys howling in the distance. A/C worked and our daughter swam in the pool at night. Would recommend if looking for a homestay in the area!”

“The homestay was a good experience in general but was quite far from Cat Ba Town. We were able to hire bicycles and ride to the national park and go hiking but there wasn't anything else that could be accessed without motorised transport. The rooms were ok, but in need of some maintenance. Bathrooms need updating and wallpaper was peeling off the ceilings. There were spiders and a centipede in the room but it was fine once we removed the critters. Lots of farm sounds with roosters, barking dogs...

We were able to arrange activities right from the homestay which was very convenient. The property is absolutely beautiful with a great pool and garden area. “Hotel was clean and staff, like most Vietnamese were lovely, very friendly and very helpful. Hard to get any information from hotel due to a little bit of communication breakdown on the day we tried, but there are plenty of tour shops around the area. A lot of construction across the road, but it will be amazing when finished.”
