He knows all the best spots to go and has access to some of the best restaurants on the island. On top of this the hotel was modern, clean and the restaurants food was incredible. We love the service here and staffs are very friendly and polite.The resort also has electric taxi to take you to into the town with small fee. The hotel was spotless and my room spacious with a great view of the bay, especially sunrise in the morning rising above one of the islet peaks. I would definitely recommend this hotel for someone who prefers a quieter location away from the main town and very close to the cruise boat harbour. 5 stars from me”

“The Ireland Hotel is a nice family run hotel. Corner Rooms are bright (there is also internal rooms without windows) and the hotel is generally clean. A few small issues with bulbs not working and TV not working but that is very minor. It’s close to the main “drag” but noise was not an issue. Cat Ba is unfortunately undergoing a lot of construction and modernisation so it’s best to rent a scooter and venture out of town. ”
