“Such a piece of history. The building itself has so much character and charm. The room was spacious and comfortable. The food was excellent. Fresh made breakfast every morning, tea and baked goods in the afternoon, and a large cheese and meat platter with wine in the evening. Couldn’t have been a better experience. ”

“Everything was clean, the staff was great as always, the view is excellent even from the first floor, and the kitchen has just about everything you need. But the property is beginning to show its age and could use a quick and cheap refurbishing on things like furnishings for the doors/closets/etc. The mattresses are old and feel old. The paint is coming off in places. It's just feeling old, is all. We love the place, for the record, and will definitely be back. But we'd like to see it...

“Off season midweek stay. I think we were the only guests at the place. Manager Scott was very friendly and accommodating allowing us early check in. No issues parking. Rooms were very clean. Plenty of toiletries provided. Kitchen had four of everything. Beds were comfortable although only double/full size in the rooms we booked.”

“The bathroom and bedroom were very clean. We stayed in the southern cottage. Our room did not have air-conditioning, but it did have a ceiling fan. The kitchen downstairs was tiny. It had a tiny mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker, and electric tea kettle. There was also a tiny mini fridge in the bedroom. You cannot cook a full meal in the kitchen. ”

“Definitely overpriced for the condition of the room. Sheets were stained and ragged stained on the walls and ceiling, the room had a bad odor of cigarette and urine. The dark color paint mad it more depressing and uncomfortable. ”

“The room was spotless, bathroom perfect, heat flawless, bed comfortable and breakfast was the perfect way to start the day. ”
