“Super quiet location, rooms were beautifully done and recently refurbished. Very much liked the underfloor heating in the bathroom and super comfy bed. The communal area and restaurant were closed when we visited but there is a fab deli, 2 mins up road and linked to wider Castle Ashby estate. Overall a gem of a hotel and ideal for quiet break to relax and refresh. ”

“Always happy to accommodate. I arrived well after they stopped serving food, but went out of their way to sort out a decent meal for me. Excellent service.”

“Freshly prepared cooked breakfast (Poached Eggs on Toast), Cereal, Toast (Honey & Marmalade), Tea, Coffee at a time to suit you. Parking is easy outside the property on the gravel driveway, the owners are very helpful and friendly and the rooms are clean and tidy.”

“The room was a great size with good facilities including a sofa area with desk and a large TV. Nice White Company amenities in the bathroom. I particularly loved the teapot and lovely selection of teas and coffee bags (rather than nasty instant coffee sachets). The only downside was that despite having several lamps the room was way too dark. There's no ceiling light and all of the bulbs in the lamps are warm white and not particularly bright, and covered by heavy lampshades, so they're not...

“Fabulous standard. Newly refurbished to high spec. Very friendly staff. Lovely and quiet. I felt perfectly safe, helped by my room being on the upper floor and there being a 24/7 reception. Worth noting the rooms are “motel” style - ie doors to the exterior walkways which for single vulnerable travellers should just be aware of. That said … I intend to make this my go to place for Milton Keynes. Excellent value for money. ”
