“very steep stairs leading to rooms. Property is showing signs of wear and tear. We received emails regarding questions of access and connection to after-hours staff after we left!!! The room was clean and well stocked but showed its age. there is a much better option 10 minutes up the road for almost half the price. There are no extra amenities to speak of . Basically, there are only 2 options within the village and thus, this one is overpriced. Stay in Haliburton or Bracebridge instead.”

“Although an older hotel I found it clean and comfortable the 4 times I have stayed there over the past 5 or so years. The owner is delightful and very helpful. There is a lovely pool on site and lots of wildlife about. Restaurants are close by in Haliburton village as well as a Tim Hortons . Will be booking there again next year for sure.”

“Beautiful place, golf in the resort is amazing. Facilities obviously outdated and need maintenance. Staff are friendly and rooms are clean. Restaurant is under maintenance. A great place with lots of potentials but I guess need serious investment to revamp.”
