It took the lady an hour to find my reservation. There was always loud music playing late at night and sometimes the owner’s kid would cry a lot.”

A week seemed just right there, as there is so much to see and do. Tatiana was super helpful with recommendations. Breakfast was excellent except for very weak coffee. ”

“Wir sind nach einer langen Anreise um ca. 9 Uhr morgens angekommen und haben direkt ein Zimmer bekommen und sogar noch ein Frühstück. Das Frühstück ist einfach aber gut. Die Besitzerin ist sehr freundlich und stets hilfsbereit. Die Lage ist perfekt. Ich würde jederzeit wieder dort unterkommen. ”

“Cute room in a converted turn-of-the-century home. The owner is sweet and staff are on hand to make breakfast for you between 6:30 and 9:00 am (you just need to tell them when you will be awake). We were able to arrange for transport to and from the hotel. Nice decorative touches throughout the home and a lovely garden. Small downsides: 1. The room we were in had stains on the carpet and mildew in the shower -- both things that can be fixed, and weren't overwhelming negative factors. 2. I...

“Manuela is so friendly, accomodating & helpful! We enjoyed a few walks into Mindo center from the location & even from Mariposa Butterfly back. It feels safe, convenient & authentic. We enjoyed some lemongrass tea from the garden (on invitation to use the garden fruit & herbs) The Yumbosa Chocolate tour in town is a treat as well. Thank you!”
