Un'estremità accessibile del terrazzo all'interno di una valle boscosa isolata. Ben posizionato per esplorare il Parco Nazionale di Exmoor. . Piano terra:

Giardino con mobili da giardino e barbecue. Parcheggio per 2-3 auto nelle vicinanze. Nota: l'accesso avviene attraverso la proprietà vicina tramite un ponte stretto. C'è un ruscello nel parco del vicino .. Situato all'interno del Parco Nazionale di Exmoor. Situato ai margini del villaggio in una deliziosa valle boscosa con un grazioso giardino, questo cottage semi-indipendente offre alloggi confortevoli e convenienti per famiglie. Accessibile attraverso un piccolo ponte di legno attraverso un ruscello, che attraversa i terreni del vicino, è idealmente posizionato per passeggiate, passeggiate e tour. La splendida Exmoor con i suoi villaggi addormentati, i pony nativi e i cervi rossi, nonché le attrazioni della costa, vicino a Minehead, al porto di Watchet e alla spiaggia di Blue Anchor. Il castello e il villaggio di Dunster (NT) e la ferrovia a vapore di West Somerset si trovano nelle vicinanze. Negozio ½ miglio, pub ¼ miglio.

A beautiful old cottage in an amazing setting.

A beautiful old cottage in an amazing setting. It's rare to find a holiday cottage that still feels like a real house nowardays. This one reminded me of an estate cottage we used to live in in Fife. If you're looking for all the modern conveniences, in bland and white, you should probably look elsewhere; but if you don't mind putting up with a bath and only a basic shower for the sake of an open fire and a well equipped kitchen, a stream outside your door, and the woods just behind so you can start your days' walk without needing to drive somewhere else, book this place.

A little tired

I'd firstly like to thank Mrs Thomas for our stay, and admit that the cottage was very good value for money. However, we found the bathing facilities to be poor, being extremely cold and inhospitable. We did use the bathroom once, but would not use it again a second time. Again, I need to remind that the cottage is very good value for money. Perhaps, not for families with children.

Great location

The cottage was just what we wanted, spacious and peaceful location with garden and open fire. This is magical setting with horses using the ford to cross the river and plenty of country walks, and the village shop/cafe and pub all accessibleon foot. . Great location visiting Exmoor/Dulverton/Dunster/Minehead area. As mentioned by others the bathroom would be improved by updating as could the kitchen be and a deeper clean would also help. That said the cottage prices were set lower and we had a great time.

Lovely cottage but couldn't stay

The cottage was lovely, basic but had everything you could need for 2 adults staying, except running water. The owner waited until we were in the cottage to tell us there was no running water, it was due to be sorted that day, unfortunately this wasn't the case and so we were forced to find other accommodation that same evening as after several calls and hours of limbo they told us they couldn't guarantee water for the week we were going to be there. Very apologetic and full refund given although this had been an issue for the week before we arrived so I feel we should have been notified when I rung to tell them our arrival time in the morning. Such a shame as the area and the neighbours were lovely, so peaceful and secluded enough but not too far from the local shops and pub.

Great cottage, amazing location.

Great cottage, amazing location. The cottage had everything that you could need for a home away from home. Back to basic with the kids as not great signal on phones, so enjoyed evenings with cards and board games. The cottage now has a DVD player which was really handy with the kids. We had an enjoyable stay at Tacker Street.

We had an enjoyable stay at Tacker Street. The cottage is really good value for money for such a nice location. It was very clean throughout on arrival. The location is quite secluded and there is no street lighting so torches needed outside at night! Parking is 100 yards away so best not to take the kitchen sink as you'll have to carry it that distance. We had a Tesco grocery delivery and they wheeled the food crates down to the door which was handy.
