House was very clean; clean sheets and towels. Bathroom had a few deficits: low toilet made it hard for older adults to get up easily. Only outlet in the bathroom doesn't work. Property is a bit dated. Appreciated that front steps were clear of snow and ice and dry the entire time we stayed. Beds are okay. Bed in back room by bath is mounted on a frame that is too small so part of the mattress hangs over the side. Several of the slats came off the rails while sleeping. Was jarring. Heat very responsive so house nice and cozy in very cold temperatures. Would have liked a measuring cup in the kitchen. Barely stocked with silverware (a few forks and spoons). This is a perfectly adequate property. Nothing special but also nothing to complain about.Location is very good. Coffee shop and focaccia restaurant half a block away. Within walking distance to lots of other restaurants and shops and McAlester College in good weather. Would be a hard walk in snowy or icy weather. Ample street parking.
