“It is a nice rustic cabin to stay in, but it has the amenities you need, including good Wi-Fi - as long as a teenager doesn't unplug the router to plug in a fan. We used it as a base camp to fish area lakes, but it would be a good place to take a smaller outdoor oriented family. There's a lot of yard and a really nice lake with very nice sandy bottom and relatively good fishing.”

“It was chilly and snowy but the views from the deck and from inside the big picture windows were absolutely stunning, and we made use of both the indoor fireplace and outdoor fire pit to stay nice and cozy. The only minor downside to this hidden gem of a property is that it has pretty low water pressure - it made washing dishes a bit more difficult and made me not want to even attempt washing my shoulder length hair. “We had a last minute pivot from a BWCA trip due to an ankle injury. This was a great choice. The lake has a classic Northwoods feel and the cabin is rustic with enough comforts to make it easy. We used the lake extensively, fished, paddleboarded, canoed and had day trips to Bear Head State Park and Ely.”
