“Good parking. Nice views and quiet site. Needed to drive to get to cafe or restaurant - shame it lacked facilities to heat food.”

“The staff on reception were lovely. Sadly the room stank of smoke and tops had not been cleaned. We tolerated the smell because we needed a nap after a lonj journey. I left my phone on the side charging and when I woke it was stuck to the top of the bedside cupboard. I put the light on and there were class rim marks and other stains that had now been cleaned. “We didn't take up our booking because we were advised by our friends and relatives (one is a member of the local constabulary) who live locally that the hotel is filthy, poorly managed and used more as a hostel for undesirables. We were advised not to stay there, consequently we didn't even see the establishment so cannot confirm whether that is the case.”

“On arrival had a warm welcome from the staff who asked if we wanted drinks we said yes and that we had booked 2 rooms. We were given our drinks and they would bring the room keys to us in a few minutes. Young lady came over and asked if we would like to see the rooms, which I went with the young lady and shown the rooms. I rejoined my friends and told them the rooms were amazing and very clean. “Easy parking, all the staff were very friendly. Room was clean and perfect for the night, breakfast was very good would happily stay again!”

“The Bathroom Floor needs new Tiles. The Bath needs a new Shower Screen. The Bath needs a quality Bath Panal. The Toilet needs a better quality toilet Seat. The Bedrooms need a portable Fridge Cooler. Restaurant evening Meals are not available certain days. Reception Staff rarely answer the telephone.”

“The staff really shine in this place. Excellent, friendly, helpful. The breakfast was good. The rooms were nice. The facility shows its age. There were some minor plumbing issues (shower drain backed up and toilet wouldn't flush easily). The staff responded quickly to our requests for help, but I don't think the problems were actually solved. I'd stay here again.”

“The staff were so friendly and helpful, the room was perfect in every way. The walls are thick so no internal noise. The free breakfast was excellent. Oh and the dedicated parking space just topped it off. Highly recommend this pub as a place to stay. We stayed in room 2 with the queen bed.
