“The best thing about my room was the renovated tiny bathroom. It had nice marble and sink but the toilet seat was loose. And that was just the beginning of the poor state of things. The room was pretty clean but the door paint had been chipped and not repainted and the door handle was barely functional. I definitely used the deadbolt lock. The curtains on the window were a solid panel so you couldn't really open them. I slid them aside. Fun fact: the metal box the mattress sits on makes a cool...

“Completely different from the website, very shabby, we were the only car in the car park, hotel was NOT near casinos or the waterfront, just a shabby motel by the highway….we asked for a refund but the only girl at the desk said no, and was sorry, she said this happens a lot when the people actually see the place! Unfortunately we stay there it just didn’t feel safe, … so we lost our money I suggest Expedia people check it out before you advertise it on your site! Very disappointed…”

We spent mornings and evenings on the porch watching the boats and wildlife in a serene and quiet setting, but restaurants and shopping downtown were just a minute away by car.
