Experience your very own `Little Slice of Heaven` at Smith Mountain Lake. This three-bedroom retreat, ideally nestled in Moneta, offers amenities to ensure your stay is well spent. The convenience of a private boat slip, a gas grill for outdoor cooking, and a cozy fire pit for those magical evenings by the water`s edge.

This home has everything you need to enjoy your time on the lake. Set off for adventure in the kayaks, take a refreshing swim off the dock, or indulge in a day of fishing right from the shoreline. Enjoy the neighborhood`s abundant wildlife, with deer, geese, and cranes regularly appearing in your yard. The best of this retreat is its prime lakefront location and its family-friendly atmosphere. Positioned inside the wide cove entrance, it provides an unmistakable feeling of being right on the lake rather than `up the river.` This home is conveniently close to local restaurants and attractions. The main level has windows and sliding glass doors stretching across the house`s entire rear, to reveal views of the Lake.

Unwind in the rustic cabin-like living area on comfortable sofas while enjoying your favorite TV shows. The well-appointed kitchen and dining room are the perfect gathering spot for the entire family. With two bedrooms on the main level, one has a King bed, and the second a Queen that shares a bath, you will be sure to find the rest you need for your busy vacationing days.

For those seeking a bit of friendly competition, the lower level houses a game room with a pool table and there is also a foosball table. In the lower level den, you will find a large-screen TV for movie nights. A second full bath is also on the lower level. The Queen bedroom offers a splendid lake view through its sliding glass doors.

Whether you choose to relax on the back deck or under the shade of the many trees in the backyard, this property provides the perfect ambiance for your stay. The deep water at the end of the dock is perfect for fishing, and boat access is incredibly convenient. There are 2 kayaks for your use to explore the lake and area. As the sun sets, gather around the fire pit to create unforgettable memories. Roast marshmallows and make s`mores while sharing stories of the day.

Linens are included and include sheets, pillowcases, 2 bath towels, 1 hand towel, and 1 washcloth per person up to the maximum occupancy of the home, as well as a kitchen starter kit. Making the beds is the responsibility of the guest.
House Rules for Your Stay

Responsible Renter: You must be at least 25 years old to rent the property. Proof of age may be requested. A parent or legal guardian must accompany guests under this age.

Occupancy Limit: The property is strictly limited to the number of guests specified in your reservation, as listed in the house advertisement (ages 2 and above). This maximum occupancy cannot be adjusted. Exceeding this limit is a breach of contract and may result in immediate eviction.

Pets Policy: Only dogs are allowed in approved pet-friendly homes with a paid fee. All pets must be leashed and under control at all times. Emotional support animals are not permitted unless explicitly authorized in writing with a fee.

No Parties or Events: The property is for residential use only. Parties, events, or loud gatherings are not permitted and may result in immediate eviction.

Quiet Hours: To maintain a peaceful environment, please keep noise levels to a minimum between 10 PM and 8 AM. Respect the neighbors’ right to quiet enjoyment.

Trash Disposal: Guests must remove all trash upon departure and dispose of it in the designated facility. The cleaning fee covers routine cleaning only and does not include additional cleanup.

Property Respect and Maintenance: Report any maintenance needs immediately to ensure a prompt resolution. Treat the home as your own; any damages or excessive mess may result in additional charges. Please return all furnishings to their original positions upon checkout.

Follow Local Regulations: Abide by all local laws and regulations. No parking on lawns or adjacent properties; please respect all parking restrictions.

Emergency Preparedness: Familiarize yourself with emergency exits and procedures. Keep emergency contact information accessible during your stay.

Beautiful and Quiet

The house and property were absolutely beautiful! The beds were comfortable, and the view of the lake was great. The local ice cream boat came into our cove a few times during the week, and it reminded me of my family’s first real vacation on SML over 10yrs ago.
