Charming Cottage with Wifi, Screened Porch Just Feet From the Lake

Charming single-level lakefront home situated on a gentle lot in a deep-water cove located just behind the Virginia Dare/ Portside Grill and Beacon Pub. Enjoy easy dock access and stunning lake views from both the home and the dock. Boasting 138' of waterfront, this home features an open floor plan with vaulted ceiling, bamboo flooring, and stainless-steel appliances. A spacious master suite includes a private bathroom, along with two additional guest bedrooms and a full guest bathroom, as well as a new queen size memory foam sleeper in the living room, as this house allows for 8 adults (anyone over 2 years old). Each bedroom has new Roku tvs for as well as a streaming app for cable TV. A large lakeside screened porch with ceiling fans offers beautiful lake views. There is a very gentle walk to the dock, which includes a floater and a covered sitting area, as well as a fire pit accessible from the house and the dock.
Take advantage of the home's prime location right off the main channel in a wide water cove, ideal for fishing, canoeing, or exploring the lake with the provided (1 canoe, 2 kayaks paddles and life jackets included). Whether you're lounging on the screened in porch, or grilling on the side porch conveniently located off the kitchen with another sitting area, this home offers endless opportunities for relaxation and enjoyment. Kitchen is equipped with all the comforts of home (Keurig, standard coffee pot, blender, food pantry). With its lake themed interior, a short gentle walk to the water, and convenient dock access, this cottage is the perfect blend of comfort and convenience. Wonderful little lakefront cottage getaway. As soon as you walk through the front door you are welcomed with a warm and cozy atmosphere. The dock is in great condition, perfect for fishing off of. Everything was as expected, and more.

Had a wonderful, relaxing long weekend!!! The house was perfect!! The screened porch was perfect for relaxing & also eating meals. The dock area has lots of chairs, so we were able to thoroughly enjoy this area for a glass of wine & dipping feet in the water. Will definitely stay here again!!

Great location, quiet cove, very accommodating, clean, cute home. It is a gentle slope to the dock. The dock is great with 2 kayaks and a canoe life vests. The screened-in porch was a great place to hang out (without bugs). The little side porch off the kitchen has a grill, we used it a couple times (it was not dirty as i read in another review). It is not a large home (no basement, rec room, or any bonus areas).. but it was just me and my husband (& 2 pups) so it was plenty big for us. We were pleased with the house and would recommend it. But if you have dogs, please be kind and clean up after your pets.. there was poop left in the yard from previous renters, which we did clean up.

Great property in a quiet neighborhood. The house was very clean and had almost everything you could need .Open floor plan with plenty of room for a family or two couples .Amazing screened in porch , incredible dock and awesome views! Highly recommend this property- we will definitely be back

Cozy Cottage Diane Drive

This home was perfect for our group, four adults and two kids. The no wake cove was great for swimming and fishing. We caught lots of cats and carp off the bank, plenty of brim and a good size large mouth bass. The home was comfortable and had everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again.

The property location was great. The property was nice and generally clean, but the grill on a side porch was filthy. I attempted to contact the rental company at about 4:45 pm on 18 June, shortly after arriving. I left a voice message. The rental office hours were listed at 9am-5pm, but I did not receive a call back on the 18th. The 19th was a holiday. I did not receive a call back on Friday, 20 June. The office is closed on weekends. Since it is an after 3:30 pm on Monday, 23 June, and still no call, I have to assume the rental office doesn’t care.

College Graduation

We had 7 people for a graduation at Liberty University. We didn’t want to be in all the traffic, so we chose this place to relax afterward and chill for a while . It is so peaceful out back on the s screened porch . It was quiet and offered a lot of solitude . We saw deer in the yard . Great relaxing space !
