Aprire grande sala con camino a gas * e parete del lago di windows che consente un sacco di luce naturale e una splendida vista sul lago. Secondo soggiorno al piano principale con grande TV a schermo piatto. 3 camere da letto su questo livello-re, regina e 1 set di letti a castello (comprende 2 master suite!) e 2½ bagni.

Il livello inferiore offre una sala giochi con tavolo da biliardo, camino a gas e un'altra grande TV a schermo piatto - con Blu-Ray, e wbar / mini frigo. Ci sono anche 2 camere da letto (king, queen) e un bagno.

VT Graduation Week

We stayed at this location for the week of Virginia Tech Graduation with our whole family. Fantastic home with everything you would ever need. Beautiful location with Great outdoor areas. Close to boat rentals so you can enjoy a day on the lake. We would love to stay here again.

Home for the Holidays

Loved our stay at SML over the holiday season. The house was amazing, lots of space to spread out and many different family fun activities. I can only imagine how great the property would be during lake season. The hot tub and the movie room were the highlights for our crew- I definitely recommend staying at MelloD!

Beautiful scenery and property

Lovely comfortable house with all amenities you could want, with beautiful lakeside scenery. We loved visiting in the Fall when less crowded but still comfortable weather to enjoy the multiple porches since we could use the fire pit and the hot tub. Very comfortable, would highly recommend for family or friend groups.

This was a lovely spot for our family to gather for my Mother's memorial service. She had lived nearby for many years and it great to have everybody back in the neighborhood. The property is tremendous with lots of inside and outside gathering places. A beautiful home.

Lovely home with cleanliness and maintenance problems

Mello-D is a beautifully decorated and well-laid out home with nice dock area. There, however, were cleanliness and maintenance problems. When we arrived at the home, we found a dirty hand towel in the half bathroom and filthy built-in cutting boards that pull out of the kitchen cabinetry. They were caked with rotten food that had never been cleaned. We also found several plates in the cabinets with food left on them, and one had a hair stuck to it. The master bedroom had pleated blinds that could not be lowered on both the exterior door and the main large window, so we could not block out the light for the first couple of days because maintenance did not arrive until halfway through our stay. He lowered the blinds, but told us we could not raise them because they are broken. We, therefore, missed out on having a lake view from the master bedroom or much natural light in there at all. We understand from him that the problem with the blinds was known prior to our stay, but had not been fixed before we arrived. We had hoped for more considering the price of this rental. There was a glass tabletop missing from the coffee table on the lower level balcony. As a result, we were unable to use that sitting area during our stay. We were interested in the spacious outdoor sitting areas advertised on VRBO for this home, so that was unfortunate. We also believed the televisions would be operational with satellite or cable TV based on the amenities listed online. We emailed the property manager several times about the fact that we could not get a signal or get it to work. They responded with no assistance. Before submitting this review, all of these matters and more were communicated to the property manager with no satisfactory response other than weak excuses. If the influx of visitors affects the ability to provide a premium product, then why would that not be reflected in the price. This house is lovely, but it was not worth the price.

Great location for a family Lake Vacation

Has everything you need, dock, fire pit, hot tub and plenty of room. We rented a boat for 5 days and spent most of the time on the boat and deck. Very easy to get to town for everyday items.

Great Vacation!

We just loved this vacation property! The house was very modern and clean! The location on the lake was perfect! It was located in a cove but not to far from the main lake. There are lots of outdoor amenities, such as canoes, paddle boat and life jackets! The kitchen is very stocked with all cooking supplies. The house also has an extra fridge, which made it nice for drinks. We will definitely be back next year.

Perfect getaway

This was a beautiful house inside and out. The pictures did not do it justice. This was a quiet and peaceful area that had limited boat traffic. We took full advantage of the kayaks and hot tub. Access to the dock was easy-not a ton of stairs. We will definitely come back.

Family Fall Retreat

Beautiful lakefront property. Quiet cove, fun kayak and paddleboat experience. Pontoon rental was easy, lake was scenic and not too busy in the fall. Smith Mountain Lake is beautiful, just wish the community could improve internet connectivity!
