  • Picture yourself overlooking glistening blue water from the back porch of this recently renovated, contemporary mountain home. Tucked along the shoreline of Smith Mountain Lake in a quiet alcove known as Sunset Point, this home offers both relaxation and convenience. With nearby restaurants and a marina within walking distance, you can easily enjoy dining out or launch your boat for a full day on the water.

    Inside, the home is bright, open, and designed for gathering. The main living room features a large sectional, while the lower-level game area offers another comfortable space with a sectional and pool table. The kitchen is well-equipped with ample cabinet space, large appliances, and a dedicated coffee bar, along with bar seating that is perfect for casual meals.

    During the warmer months, spend your days swimming, kayaking with the two provided kayaks, or relaxing on the dock while taking in the lake views. The dining area overlooks the water, and the back decks provide a grill and outdoor dining space for easy al fresco meals. For those mixing work with leisure, the main-level office and fast WiFi make remote work seamless.

    The primary bedroom features a private balcony overlooking the lake, perfect for a quiet morning coffee. The lower level includes two additional bedrooms with lake views and a shared bathroom, offering comfortable accommodations for your group.

    Maximum occupancy is six guests over the age of two, per county and state regulations.
    Boat lift and slip are not available for guest use. Guests should bring their own boat fenders and life vests.
    Dock allows for one boat during your stay. Electrical outlet access is available at the dock.

Family Fun House

I have been renting lake houses for years, and this is one of my favorites. It had everything for a great time with the family - comfortable home, lots of games, beautiful lake view, great dock, etc. Can't wait to go back!

Great house, dock, and cove!

We really enjoyed staying at the house! It was super clean, great kitchen, plenty of space to hangout and eat. The dock was amazing! Plenty of room to hang on the dock and it was stocked with floats! Great house!

Great Lake House!

Fabulous Lake House

Simply a perfect home in a perfect spot on Smith Mountain Lake. We loved every aspect of the home: it is spacious, nicely furnished and equipped, immaculately clean, and in a beautiful cove. We will make it an annual trip.

Wonderful Trip

We had a wonderful 2 week stay at the house. The house was clean and fully stocked with everything we needed. The dock was beautiful and we enjoyed all the fish we caught. The house is a lot of fun and perfect for families. We would absolutely stay here again if the opportunity presented itself.

Great escape

We had a wonderful time. The house is right on the lake and had so many things to do - we played pool, ping pong, paddle boarded, kayaked, swam in the lake, and played a few games. The kitchen was well equipped. We hope to return next year.

Pictures don’t do the house justice! Great communication with property manager, super comfortable bedrooms, living room, and TV room in the basement. Kids/teenagers loved the dock and basement.

Not Your Average Vacation Rental

I just spent a few days at this lake house, and it was fantastic! The cozy blues and whites inside made it feel so welcoming, and the lake view was stunning. The outdoor dining area with comfy blue cushions and string lights made our evenings special. Plus, the dock was great for swimming and sunbathing! The owners have everything! This place is perfect for a laid-back, relaxing getaway. Can’t wait to come back!

Lake Fun!!! PERFECT LOCATION

Great house. Kids on lower level, adults upstairs. Plenty to do at house. Great place to swim, boat and hang out on the deck! Dog friendly. Light traffic road , great for walking the dog. May rent again!

Great Lake Home

We really enjoyed our stay at Smith Mt Lake. The home was just as described. Lots of room and very comfortable for our weekend stay. Beautiful views from the bedrooms and living areas. Well maintained and very clean. Will be back!!
