Cottage a Monmouth

“Overall this was a good stay, rooms were nice and clean and there was plenty of space for 10 adults to stay. However, both ovens failed to heat properly which made cooking a bit of a pain. Check in process was not great, only being able to arrive between 5-6, the owner did not respond to any prior messages. Despite this, the local area was stunning, and the house was fit for purpose and good value considering the price of other locations in the area for a group this size.”

“Had a lovely stay at the farmhouse. Enjoyed using the swimming pool! Very well maintained gardens. Only negatives were the shower not working very well and no WiFi. Otherwise couldn’t fault it!”

The house is very nice with lots of little touches that made a big difference (well equipped kitchen, board games etc.).Peaceful location with access to lots of nice walks nearby.Host was lovely and even made us some homemade treats for when we checked in. “Lovely stay at the bungalow. Three friends on a singing weekend nearby. It was very well equipped, clean and peaceful. A drainer rack for the sink would be useful and the mattresses were a little ‘tired’. Nevertheless it was great for us and we would stay there again.”
