I was especially surprised (and very relieved) that their pet policy allowed cats, as I was traveling with two. It’s not always easy to find accommodations that welcome cats, so this made a big difference for me and made the move far less stressful. “I was very pleased with the cleanliness and conditions of the motel. Looks like all the rooms have been upgraded in recent years and the parking lot was recently repaved. It all just looks clean and tidy. It's rare that I find a motel or AirBnB with clean floors but this motel had them. Often times i have to keep socks or sandals on the entire time I'm in a place due to sticky or dirty floors. My room at Swiss Chalet did not require this and the bottom of my feet were clean. Maybe seems minor...

“The property was clean and our room mostly OK. There was not a big selection for breakfast but what was there was tasty. I am not a fan of paper cups and wooden cutlery. Our room (206) did have a few issues. First, the door to the bathroom was loose on the hinges. I was a little scared to use it so we mostly kept it open. Also, there was an unusual, very loud banging sound from time to time, like someone dropping heavy objects upstairs. We later noticed that it only happened after the toilet...
