I didn’t realize how far away this hotel was from bus stops or train stations when booking and found myself kind of stranded (I tried to walk to the bus stop 20minutes away and the streets immediately around the hotel are not designed for pedestrians). “I’d give it a 10/5 if I could. The owner was the friendliest person ever. As soon as we got there he took a picture of us in front of Fuji, offered us a drink in the lobby was very hands on with helping operations. They even had announcements on the intercom when Fuji came out of the clouds. Out of all the places we stayed while in Japan this one was my absolute favourite. ”

“Amazing location right on the front of Lake Kawaguchi. Our room had an amazing view of the lake and was walking distance to dining options, transportation, and convenience stores. The staff were extremely welcoming and helpful. The hotel was a little older than other hotels I’ve stayed at during my stay in Japan but it was still clean. The rooms were spacious and even included a living area! Great for large groups traveling. Overall I highly recommend and most definitely will stay here again! ”
