The home was very comfortable and much roomier than we thought it would be. The views were amazing. There were extra comfort items throughout the home. The bedrooms were spacious and I liked the ceiling fans. The home was spotless-very clean. I hope to return for another visit.

What a wonderfully put together booking! So cozy and welcoming- it’s a perfect reprieve from the frigid outdoors. Lon was very helpful, always prompt with responses. I would absolutely recommend this booking to anyone who wants to explore the surrounding national forests, and I would certainly be open to using this booking again for the summer.

Our week in the country

In a remote 1960’s farmhouse, with sparkling clean rooms and a friendly Jersey cow next door, we loitered on the porch with our coffee, and enjoyed lots of books and memorabilia for five great days while attending a friends wedding. It was wonderful and I recommend this place.

A beautiful home

A beautiful and tranquil place. Lon and his wife were super hospitable. We had two kids with us who enjoyed the fire pit at night and watching the cows in the morning. The cleanest and most well maintained vacation rental we’ve been to. Can’t wait to go back.

We will be back!

There was a family event that brought us to the area of our rental & our first visit to this area. The rental fit our needs perfectly. The area has some points of interest that we look forward to exploring in the near future and will stay at the Haven.
