“Condo was spacious and looks like it was recently decorated and remodeled nicely. However, there was a broken toilet seat, and my MIL almost fell using it the first time because she didn't notice it (started to slide over). There was a missing TP holder in the other bathroom, and after walking down the hallway a few times, the bottoms of our feet were black. The condo could definitely use a few more amenities, like dish towels, pot holders and maybe a few more plates/cups/silverware. We had...

“This property did not disappoint! No detail was spared in making this the perfect spot for comfort and relaxation. And the views! The property was designed and situated to take advantage of panoramic scenery. Our fisherman were especially appreciative of the private boat ramp and dock. There were 3 couples and we all commented that you couldn’t go wrong with any of the 3 bedrooms….all 3 were comfortable and had their own baths. We will definitely stay again if back in the area. Awesome trip!”

“The house was even better than anticipated! The owners thought of everything one might need when staying with a group. We cooked, grilled, swam, fished, canoed, kayaked, slept in the hammock, gathered around the firepit -- and had a fantastic experience. The location is picturesque on the shores of Lay Lake. The owner was quick to respond to our questions and incredibly accommodating. We can't stop talking about our time there and hope to go back again next year!”

“I'd give this property and owner 6 stars if I could. Seriously can't say enough positive about this property and process. Super easy to get to and in. Quiet neighborhood, super clean house and even surprised us with snacks in the kitchen which was great after a long drive. Out teen and young adult children loved the basement entertainment area. Would 100% recommend and use again next time we are in the area.”

“The house setup is great. We enjoyed sitting on the covered decks with a great view overlook the Waxahatchie. The flat top grill was a big hit. The house was well stocked and very comfortable. Great location .”

“House was beautiful. High quality all the way; mattresses, kitchen appliances, furniture. Nice playroom with toys. Game room was wonderful. Only drawback was access to water; lots of steps. Hard (or impossible) for older people and small children to get down to dock.”
