“My friends and I rented this property for a long girls weekend to attend an event in the area. We liked the historical aspect of the property and Gary was an excellent host. His banana bread was amazing! We would definitely stay again. ”

If you're planning a longer stay, be prepared that food prep will be limited in this kitchen.”

“Not only was the property not as described in several key ways, causing us to leave immediately because we felt unsafe entering and exiting the property, but the host refused to refund any funds. Regarding the property, there were several issues. First, the parking area in the rear was dark and strewn with trash near a shared dumpster (not shown in images). It was in the rear, and the parking lot was apparently shared with the adjacent Mexican restaurant. Then there was the old-school lockbox...

“The apartment is beautiful with the most attention to detail. We walked each night to the water/restaurants in Newburgh. Communication was quick and timely. We would love to stay here again. The area can get loud at times but we didn't feel unsafe.”

The breakfast was absolutely wonderful! Eva even tried to poach eggs for us. We got to talk to her about her life for a little bit and would love to visit again. She is a true gem. ”
