“I keep using this hotel cause its not that bad after all. But C’mon fix the wifi.”

“The hotel is nice for a short stay however could do with a few upgrades but generally well maintained. When we arrived we had a very warm welcome and throughout the stay our 2 dogs were made to feel relaxed and happy. The shower in the room was so small you struggled to move about and the shower gel provided even though smelt lovely was obviously watered down. “The property is 400 yrs old so expect things to be uneven. The current owners have only been there a few years so maybe they still have work to do. The bedrooms are described on the website as "stylish "....I would say plain. The bedding was clean, bathroom ok but it was difficult to get the shower to the right temperature...it was either boiling or cold. Room 5 had a frosted window but it was hot so we had it open. The room could do with a slight update....e.g. more plug sockets and a bigger...

“Fix the wifi, fix the fan, do something about the too much light getting into the windows. Serve breakafast to guests until 11am. Fix the toilet door upstairs, its clunky, heavy and uncomfortable. Do something to get rid of spiders.”

“Some sort of food scattered on the floor freezing cold bedroom felt like we were in a refrigerated room. Rail on the stairs was not safe wobbled as you held onto it. Stuff were very pleasing when we arrived. Stayed for an hour and decided to move out to somewhere more suitable the same day.”

“This was my first time staying here or even being in Shrewsbury and I can honestly say it was fantastic. The staff were so kind and welcoming, and able to give me suggestions on places to visit during my stay. The breakfast was fantastic and food served during the day was also amazing. Room was lovely and clean and a good size. My only problem was the mattress on the bed was so hard it was difficult to sleep. Other than that thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would stay again. Thank you to all staff”
