“Very nice hotel in Aguas Calientes. Room very big and nice in the middle of the forest. Aguas Calientes in not very nice but the hotel is very close to the Main Street but at the same time very silent! I would recommend ”

They gave me another room but the hotel had no water at first then no hot water for the duration of my stay. The light outside the room was not working so I had to use the light of my phone. “This hotel is a little off the beaten path. It’s about one block past the area that feels active and safe. The lobby is very sparsely decorated and not very welcoming. We had two rooms. One of our rooms had hot water problems. Lots of cold showers. In our other room, the outlets did not work. The hotel staff was very responsive in fixing that problem. Overall, it was just fine.”

Communication was difficult because very few staff members, including management, spoke English, leaving us feeling unsupported and uncertain about our options. “This was incredible. If you are looking for a 5 star resort this may not be for you , but if you want a real authentic experience with an incredible view , I mean incredible. (This is saying a lot as I am from Alaska and have a high level of expectation for views ) the family that runs the base camp and restraint were so sweet this was one of the most memorable stays I’ve had in my life. Can’t wait to plan my trip back here! ”
