Somehow we got cabin #1 right next to the water. Simple but comfortable cabin with a small kitchen (sink & fridge). Great cross breeze when opening the front & back doors. There were some small ants that would swarm the kitchen if food was left out. There's a nice restaurant on site and the pizzeria next door is fantastic, it's a must go!

The hotel is nice and calm. The hotel beach is not really a beach but the public beach is just next to it and the water is chrystal clear. The pool is small but nice. The service was excellent: very friendly both in the restaurant and the reception. The village consists from a few shops and restaurants so there is nothing much to do but organized tours pick-ups work well.

Was pleasantly surprise to find a two-burner hot plate with dishes, cooking pot and fry pan plus utensils. Was also surprised that there was not TV. Didn't affect us but might make a difference to some.

Budget friendly.
On arrival at check in we were told breakfast was included. Then at check out we were told we had to pay, not the best service there. Plus breakfast is very basic. The same fruit salad is wheeled out each day that swims in juice. Then it's croissant, pan au chocolate. Not sure what was fly or chocolate. The room itself was nice but no air conditioning, just a ceiling fan. At this time of year that's not a problem but in the hotter humid months it might be. Plenty of local restaurants nearby serve up some excellent local cuisine. Its basic but cheap so if you are seeking a budget friendly hotel in paradise then this is your place.

Beautiful stay
Hotel hibiscus is beautiful . Right on the beach , nice restaurant . My daughter loves the pool . Great place , would definitely stay here again.

Lovely room with kitchenette amenities. The swimming pool was sparkling clean and grounds were beautifully maintained. Warm reception. No t.v. in our room but there was a safe which we appreciated. Small parking lot which filled up early in the afternoon.

Nobody helped us with our luggage, we had to drag it through grass field. Only few parkig spaces. Very small kitchen with no kitchen sink. Roosters will wake you up at 4 am in the morning. No AC only fan.

Great location
The restaurant on-site was excellent for both its breakfast buffet and dinners. The reception staff were friendly and helpful. The resort is located right on the edge of a public beach, and you can enjoy numerous recreation opportunities (swimming, snorkeling, paddling, whale watching excursions, etc.). It’s a 5-minutes walk to a small shopping center (very charming) with a small grocery store. But bring ear plugs because the island’s rooster population start crowing around 3:30am!

Les logements sont corretcs mais l'ensemble du site n'est pas entretenu. Pelouse non tondue, les escaliers et les abords de la plage sont délabrés. Prix élevé par rapport aux prestations

We stayed in the hotel (not the bungalow) and it was comfortable and clean. The airconditioner provided relief after being in the sun. the hotel has a restaurant. Staff was friendly and responsive. The beach was accessible. Parking was on-site though very limited. The one thing we didn't like was the shower. there was no curtain or shower door hence it got messy after a shower. The floor towels were not enough.

Dommage que notre séjour dans cet hôtel se soit mal passé la 1ere nuit. Torticolis au réveil à la suite d'une mauvaise nuit sur un matelas usagé à remplacer d'urgence. Matinée passée chez le médecin avec pose d'une minerve. On nous a relogé immédiatement dans un bungalow en surclassement, sans poser de question. C'est plus économique que de rembourser une nuit à 200 Euros !!!! Vérifiez la literie ! Sinon, Accueil sympa .

Due to cancellations of return flights, we moved from a 4-star hotel on Moorea to the Hotel Hibiscus for 3 nights. The Hibiscus was a pleasant surprise. It had a better location on the island than the 4-star hotel, our bungalow was terrific, and the service was much, much better than at the 4-star hotel. Simply put, the staff of the Hibiscus made us feel like we were welcome guests - something we definitely did not get at the pricier hotel.

Perfect reset button!
Super peaceful and relaxing place! The weekend saw the only hustle with travelers from Tahiti. The only noise was a rooster who thought we needed up at 5am. Great scuba diving, kayaking, and bicycling! We will stay there again!

Excellent séjour
Une seule nuit dans cet hotel mais ce fut une belle découverte. Tout est en très bon état, le personnel est adorable et l'établissement se trouve à côté d'une petite plage magnifique et de commerces et restaurant de qualité. Je retournerai avec grand plaisir pour séjourner plus longtemps dans cet hotel.

Great staff. Room and outside area needs updating. Close to couple snack restaurants That is in walking distance. Wished they would of had lounge chairs And/or table and chairs next to ocean. No where to sit unless sitting on ground or in the restaurant. Public beach next door. Smaller pool is in great shape with loungers. Would recommend having a car if staying here.

The staff here, Jasmine and Michael, were very friendly and helpful. The food and drinks were very good and the location right on water was great. The snorkeling was good even though the reef is sick as is in many places. We stayed in #27 which was nice as the glass sliders faced the park and breezes were good. The bungalows are charming and pleasant and having a kitchenette was very nice. The grounds are well kept and there are flowers in the room. Snorkel gear and towels for beach are free. Overall, we were happy with Hibiscus and would stay here again. Great place for families.

I liked it but didn’t have A/C. Also there was no screen for the sliding doors so you couldn’t open doors unless you wanted roosters, cats or insects coming in.

We woke up at 8:30 to housekeeping knocking on our bedroom door (they had already let themselves into the bathroom area) asking if we were planning to check out early so they could start cleaning. The room was nice, it was pretty warm although that’s expected in a bungalow with only a fan.

We think that you probably didn’t heard this first knock and so, thinking that nobody was in the bungalow, they get in. To be sure they knocked at the second door also, probably waking you up. We apologize for this situation and, in this regard, please know that is the first time that we have this case. In Moorea all morning activities start between 7:30 and 8:30 am and so usually our guests are gone. That's why our housekeeping service start at that time. For your information our housekeeping staff doesn't speak English, so they probably didn’t understand what you told them. Again, we apologize for this inconvenient and hope that you have enjoyed your stay in Moorea. Best regards,

Loved this place!
Opted to stay in the building, where the rooms have air-conditioning rather than in a bungalow, which I believe do not have the option. This place is quaint and came across as super laid back and relaxing. They have a pool and very well kept grounds. The have their own little beach which was wonderful. The onsite restaurant, Le Sunset was wonderful. Best place to catch the sunset.

Ce qui est très intéressant, c’est la plage sur la lagune. La vue est magnifique de la plage et du restaurant. Notre bungalow donnait sur le jardin. C’était très chaud avec seulement un ventilateur, il aurait fallu la clim! C’est le plus gros inconvénient.

Nice spot (beach and swimming pool), but internet not working well, beach towels not always available, had to ask for the aircon remote (aircon fixed too cold). Accomodation and restaurant not value for the price.

Baja calidad comparado con alojamientos cercanos
La habitación (cabaña) tenia notoria falta de Mantención, una de las ventanas no funcionaba, faltaban artículos en el baño, el colchón de la cama estaba vencido ya había terminado su vida útil, en genrral la cabaña no se comparaba con la información de la publicación.

Très bon séjour, moments et paysages inoubliables
Séjour très agréable dans un lieu enchanteur. Le restaurant sur place est très pratique et la table est bonne de la pizza aux plats locaux, le tout au bord d'un lagon turquoise qui a entièrement répondu à nos attentes. Possibilité de réserver des activités sur place. Wi-Fi gratuit indispensable puisque tous les bungalows et chambres n'ont pas tous la chance d'être équipés de TV or les animations se font rares à Moorea le soir
